The Great Ganga

We Hated this accommodation. Very poor quality hotel. Extremely disorganised. Very untidy. Flies all around the rooms and dining areas. Poor quality maintenance. Untrained staff. Staff using reception to sleep until 8 am. Not punctual. Food quality is basic. Some of the rooms have windows opening to the restaurants with no privsey to the customers. This place has the potential to do better if present issues are taken seriously and immediately addressed.

It offers stunning river view, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation. The property is well-maintained, and the lush garden adds to its charm, providing a peaceful space to unwind. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring a seamless stay. Whether you're looking for a serene getaway or a luxurious stay, The Great Ganga is an excellent choice.

The Great Ganga, Uttarkashi - An Extremely Disappointing Stay. Out stay at Great Ganga in Uttarkashi, which was advertised as a 3-star accommodation. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and fell far below even basic standards. #Food Quality The food served was stale and caused me to become sick. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel. Breakfast not provided today. #Bathroom Conditions The washroom was in a terrible state - unclean and poorly maintained. Basic hygiene standards were clearly not being met. #Room Cleanliness The rooms were not hygienic at all. Overall the conditions were more comparable to a basic choultry (rest house) rather than a proper hotel. Only thing good about this hotel is location. As it stands, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Uttarkashi, there are better options!!

One of the best hotel in near Uttarkashi right in the banns of Bhagirathi river.I stayed in this hotel in the year with my entire family. Hotel was very clean rooms with all the 3 star level facility.

Worst hospitality and food... trust me guyzzz don't think about this hotel.. everything is overpriced and the food is spoiled as you can't even think... do not prefer this, shivlinga hotel is best..

One of the most premium hotel in uttarkashi gangotri highway ,The rooms are very spacious and airy the vibe is very good around and scenaries are extraordinary . You can also enjoy around the loan area which is along side the ganga river , the weather is very pleasant and the management is great . Must visit place while travelling to gangotri ( Hotel The Great Ganga ,Uttarkashi)

Room frontage and restaurant looks good and services are good. But rooms lacking basic facilities.No exhaust fan,no intercom,room keys not working,cleaning is not up to the mark. Food was very low quality 1st day. 2nd day it was ok. You can enjoy the music and beauty of river from your balcony over tea.

Don't go plss room and food is worst more then you can ever think.. waste of money
