Hotel Yamuna - Aditya

The scenery from the rooftop was just breathtaking. It's one of the tallest building in the area. Reception is on the second floor. It is also close to the main market and you can buy anything of need from there. The restaurant was on top floor and had limited seats and food. The food was all vegetarian. The rooms were in good condition. There was a yoga centre at the rooftop. Each floor had 7-8 rooms. Although I wish there was an elevator since there were so many steps to cover. The hotel is just next to the parking and you can easily park the car and see it from the rooftop. There were many restaurants in the periphery which offered good hearty meals. This is an excellent place to stay and I implore you to stay at least one day in this city. This city has its own myths and folktales. There are also famous temples here which are nice to look at

Highly suggested not to book this hotel as they have pathetic services in terms of room service, cleaning and the staff behavior. We had booked this hotel which included breakfast and dinner. but when we asked for dinner they said your are the only guest in our hotel so we are not cooking anything, will buy from outside and that food quality is tasteless and worthless. Secondly, in morning at 6;30 am when we asked for breakfast they said that who will cook breakfast now. I was highly disappointed with this behavior of the Staff and owner who don't know how to treat the guest when they are paying a good amount for stay. Also the hotel is not safe, we noticed 3 people standing at our gate around 9pm totally drunk.

A very clean and nice hotel to stay. The rooms spacious, bath rooms are clean. most important for me they had geyser and an excellent shower. Stayed here on the way to Gangotri and liked it so much that I stayed on the way back. Staff very friendly and informative. TV is decent led with english entertainment channels available. Downside is as it is on the market road on one side and the back side has grounds on which there is a permenant fair or mela, it can be a little noisy. It does not have a restaurant but they provide you with tea coffee.

Hotel Yamuna Aditya located right at the heart of the town.. the local market is just below the hotel giving access to local shopping as well as very near to the taxi and bus stands.. Clean Hygienic place to stay . Welcoming and helpful staff..

Food quality is very werst. And rooms are too small

One of the dirtiest places I have ever seen up in the hills. Extremely unruly and ill mannered staff. Cramped and dirty rooms priced at the rate of a luxury stay. Chose this only if you have nowhere else to stay!
