Hotel Sahaj Villa

We stayed here for two days on our way to Gangotri. Low maintenance dirty towels Rooms are below average. service boys are students who are working part time during their vacation. Food is below average.

Very badly maintained Rooms. Very old hotel. Especially to avoid ground floor rooms...no inside lock in the Room and Bathroom. Looks like they are offering these Rooms to Patients recovering from illness in the nearby hospital. All blood stains in the walls, very damp and no cleaning at all.

Shiv and his staff was excellent. The person running the kitchen is good as well. Food is nice. Rooms are comfy. The safety grills outside the room is too low and risk with kids.

The property is big with average rooms. Probably caters to large crowds during the peak pilgrimage season. They have an in-house restaurant and a terrace as well to sit and relax. However, they can do better with the room cleanliness.

The hotel is outside the main market so you can feel calm and quite there. The room in which I stayed( suite I must say as it had two big rooms and two double beds) was clean, well maintained, had clean linen and the view of VARNAVAT PARVAT from the room was mesmerizing. The owner and helper were so cooperative and polite. Whenever I will plan for that route I will definitely book this hotel.

Good hotel with guiser, a.c & TV facilities. Lift not available. Nice view from balcony. Located in the outskirts of Uttarkashi, before the tunnel. Main Market is around 3-4km far from this place. Food not available at this hotel. No restaurants available nearby. You have to go to the main Market which is 3-4km away for lunch and dinner. They even bring tea/coffee from outside. By the way, very clean hotel with friendly hotel staffs.

It's a good hotel. Rooms are well maintained. It's in the middle of the Gyansu market and reliance Trends is very near from here. Balcony view from here is awesome and the daily necessities items you can get from the shop out there.
