The Woods Resort in Kanatal is a breath of fresh air in Mountains of Uttrakhand. Imagine escaping to a peaceful haven surrounded by nature, and that's exactly what you get here. The food was a real treat, with fresh, flavorful dishes that made every meal enjoyable. The cottages were cozy and charming, blending perfectly with the natural setting. And the hospitality? Absolutely heartwarming. The staff were so welcoming and genuinely cared about making our stay special. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with great food and lovely people and absolutely the view with Sunrise and Stargazing experience, The Woods Resort is a fantastic choice. It's a place that feels good for the soul.

Our stay at Woods Aaryam was truly pleasant and satisfying. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the service was prompt and met all our expectations. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, with a special mention to Kiran Pal (Supervisor), who was exceptionally courteous and attentive. He ensured that everything was in order and even offered thoughtful suggestions tailored to our needs. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The hotel is located at an excellent location near main road. The property is having excellent views, cozy rooms and courteous atatf. Really peaceful, clean and heavenly feeling. You can see sunrise, Sunset, forest and Himalaya from your rooms. Veg food is really tasty, satisfying and excellent. Special thanks to manage Mr. KP who made the stay feel like homely.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat Near Kanatal:- I had an amazing experience staying at this resort located in Kanatal, just near the Surkanda Devi Temple. The serene mountain views and peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect getaway from the city chaos. The room was cozy with beautiful wooden interiors and large glass windows offering spectacular views of the hills. One of my favorite moments was enjoying my meal while soaking in the scenery -- absolutely magical! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of local flavors. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, and the property was very well maintained. I also loved the outdoor seating areas and the neat walking paths around the resort. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kanatal -- whether you're here for nature, peace, or to visit Surkanda Devi Temple, this resort is the perfect base.

We had a great stay at the properly. Its rally beautiful. Well kept and clean rooms, Friendly staff, lovely location with rooms with a great view and simple and tasty food with exceptional service.

Disappointing Stay at The Woods Resort, Kanatal - Needs Serious Improvement We recently stayed at The Woods Resort, Kanatal, and unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations set by the resort, especially given we had opted for the MAP (Plan), which should have ensured a better quality of food and service. Food quality and variety were major letdowns. Breakfast was repetitive -- poha was served on both days, with no fresh fruits or juices offered. Dinner also lacked variety, with limited options available, and even basic items like tandoori roti were unavailable. To make matters worse, the quality of food likely caused both of us to have upset stomachs, which was a major inconvenience. There was also no basic medicine available at the property (such as antacids or anti-diarrheal medication), which was concerning, especially given the remote location. Basic services were lacking. For example, we had to ask for the water bottle to be replenished the next day, which should be a standard part of service. Despite being marketed as a pet-friendly property, our pet had to stay indoors throughout the stay due to a stray dog roaming the premises. This was a major disappointment, as it defeated the purpose of choosing this property for a pet-friendly experience. A privacy and safety concern arose from the lack of a lock inside the room, which we communicated to the staff. Unfortunately, no action was taken to resolve this during our stay. Recreational activities for kids were virtually nonexistent. The resort claims to be a family-friendly destination, yet there were very few options for children to enjoy, which significantly detracted from the overall experience for families. Overall, there is a discrepancy between what the resort claims -- particularly regarding food quality, a pet-friendly environment, and family amenities -- and what is actually delivered. While the natural surroundings are beautiful, the lack of attention to basic hospitality, safety, and guest comfort made our stay disappointing. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns, as the property does have potential. Not recommended in its current condition.

If you want peace and nature, you can come this place, they have really good stays with great views, premium rooms are very warm and staff is extreme good. Without any worries with family perfect weekend. Not doubt. 5 star

A little slice of heaven tucked away in the mountains. The views at the woods are extraordinary with each cabin built to take it all in. We really enjoyed our stay here as it was peaceful and everything we needed at our door step. I do have to mention the food at the woods restaurant really exceeded our expectations, It was fresh and full of flavour. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable and with all this said I would recommend to friends and family who are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
