The Hermitage Kanatal

An underrated gem tucked away in Kanatal. You can almost miss it if not for the color of the building. But hidden inside is an absolutely warm and hospitable stay. Mr. Bhatia took a lot of pain to make sure that our stay was a comfortable one. The staff were very courteous, and were always available for help. The food was also right up there. We were very satisfied with what we ordered. The room was nice and old school, with a fantastic view of the forest and the distant mountains. It really helped with the feeling of detachment from daily life. I highly recommend this spot for its ambience and hospitality, and I hope to visit again soon.

Our six nights stay @ The Hermitage, Kanatal was most memorable, very comfortable and enjoyable vacation. The location of the property is excellent. Waking up to the beautiful forest view and chirping of birds is a treat. The property is tastefully decorated with live plants and wood furniture, beautiful paintings. . Food is excellent, home like and always fresh. The hospitality extended by all staff, special mention of Mr. Ranbir ji, is outstanding. Special thank to Mr.Bhatia for making our stay so comfortable and memorable and for taking special care of my elderly dad who enjoyed the most. Thanks again and we will come back.

The food was homely and very good touch of authentic pahari culture. Breakfast was wholesome and with variety each day. Staff has been very kind ,cheerful and welcoming and always ready to help beyond duty. The view has been spectacular and very soothing . The location is so very well connected to other places of tourism and adventure . The rooms are well maintained and cozy. In all this place is worth visit not once but many times.

Located on the main road the entry is not very encouraging but one gets a better feel on entering through the gate. Although it is located on the main road but adequate measured have been taken to make the rooms next to the road sound proof. The morning view and sunrise from the hotel's location is worth seeing and will always linger on to your memories. Staff (house keeping and "some" of that of room service) are good. However room. and restaurant services takes a lot of time in serving even basic things like toasted bread, tea etc

I had the worst experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, acting like guests were a burden rather than customers. The food was terrible--cold, tasteless, and clearly not fresh. To top it off, the bathroom in my room was absolutely disgusting, with mold on the walls and a foul smell that never went away. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hi, I stay here with friends... Food quality is ok but price are soo high 800/ plate according to price food was not good. Sound system is also not working properly sond not coming properly

Excellent manager RANBIR SINGH and staff and the property was awesome. Beautiful view of mountains and rooms are well spacious with balcony and pleasant atmosphere . You can see beautiful mountain range from your balcony and the wooden floor gives you a nice feel. The temperature this time was normal so we could stay outside till ten in the night and enjoy. Ranbir and his team make us feel at home . You ask for it and they will try their best to make the facilities.

Visited this place on 29th March and stayed in this hotel from 29th-31st March.Very nice budget friendly hotel, maintained hygiene and staffs were very good .Food was also very delicious.I recommend this hotel worth staying .
