Hotel Sonia Resort & Spa - Best Luxury Hotel in Rudrapur

A really peaceful and lovely stay I had their during my recent official visit. They have large open area to allow you to roam inside the campus for small walks. They have parks, gym, swimming pool and other facilities as well. I had a long stay there and the best part is the daily room cleaning and changes of essentials in the room which was took care very well by the hotel staff. Behavior of Staff was great and room service was also done brilliantly. Food can be improved a bit although it was good but can be done better. Options in Breakfast are very good which was complimentary with the stay. Overall a Great Stay Would Love to Visit and Stay again.

It's a nice place to stay. The ambience makes sure that your time is a memorable one. Swimming Pool is a nice location within to enjoy the evening. The Rooms are well maintained, food is delicious and there's ample of parking space. The location is easy to reach and within city. The reason I would not give it a 5 star Rating is that the room charges are on the bit higher side.

Visited in Nov 2024 here Location was good the food quality and taste was good. The problem was the smell of cigarettes in room. Another issue was we were thirsty at night and cant find water called the reception but no one picked. Luckily found some water in wedding arranged there in 2 at night.

A run down and old resort / hotel. Haven't seen the rooms but the property overall is below average. The bar didn't have most of the options given on the menu. Food wasn't good at all and service was shoddy. At night, the place looks quite shady. There are better options in Rudrapur.

One of the oldest establishments in Rudrapur . Food and service are always of highest quality. Run very efficiently by Rungta family.

Very nice place, and nice staff. We got the room on short notice, so it was a little expensive. Close to Rudrapur and hosts foreigners.

We went for lunch. Food was below average. Service was fast.

Rooms are good but the worst thing is the staff. They would first press the bell and then open the door by themselves (literally). After that when we asked for an extra mattress and some utensils but guess what they kept us waited for entirely 1-2 hours. We had to ask 5 times to ask for those things.
