If you're planning a peaceful getaway to Rishikesh, Tapivan Hills is a fantastic choice. Nestled along the banks of the holy Ganga river, this resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, nature, and spiritual serenity. Location: 5/5 The hotel is located right on the banks of the Ganga, offering breathtaking views of the river and lush green hills. It's away from the crowded areas, but still close enough to key spots like Lakshman Jhula and the local markets. Rooms: 4.5/5 The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-furnished with a touch of elegance. Many rooms come with a private balcony overlooking the river, which is a highlight. The only downside is that some older units may feel slightly dated. Food: 4.5/5 Their in-house restaurant serves delicious vegetarian food, with both Indian and continental options. The breakfast buffet is generous and includes fresh fruits, juices, and live counters. Facilities: 4.5/5 The property has a wellness center, an infinity pool with a river view, a yoga room, and a spa. The gardens and walking paths are great for morning walks. Free Wi-Fi and ample parking are added bonuses. Service: 5/5 Staff is polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. They also help with booking adventure activities like river rafting, treks, and local tours. Verdict: Aloha on the Ganges is perfect for those seeking peace, spiritual rejuvenation, or a luxurious riverside vacation. Highly recommended for families, couples, and even solo travelers.

I recently stayed at Tapovan Hiils in Rishikesh, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, yet it's close to all the main attractions like Laxman Jhula and the Ganga Aarti spot. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff was polite and always ready to help. One of the best parts of my stay was the calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also has a swimming pool where you can sit and enjoy the view, especially during sunrise or sunset. It's a perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, or even families looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Rishikesh. Would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Rishikesh!
We were highly disappointed with our recent stay. The cleanliness of the rooms was far below acceptable standards--stained walls, and an overall lack of upkeep made the experience quite unpleasant. We had booked a deluxe room, but it resembled an outdated executive room with worn-out furniture and poor lighting. Service was equally disappointing. Staff responsiveness was slow, and basic requests took far too long to be fulfilled. The receptionist, in particular, was unwelcoming and dismissive, acting as though she were doing us a favor rather than offering hospitality. I'm extremely disappointed with the level of service I've received. I've called reception five times requesting a water bottle, and instead of fulfilling such a basic request -- something that's included in the amenities I've paid for -- I was told to come downstairs and fill it myself because the staff is "too busy." When I tried to explain how unacceptable that is, the call was abruptly and rudely cut off. To make matters worse, I placed a food order for snacks over two hours ago, and it still hasn't arrived. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable. I expect immediate action -- this is not the standard of service I was promised or paid for. Worst hotel
It was truly one of the best hospitality experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with a warm greetings. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, offering stunning views of the mountains. The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The on-site restaurant served exquisite dishes, and the breakfast. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and eager to return. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a luxurious and seamless hotel experience.
We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Tapovan Hills. Despite visiting during the off-season when the hotel was relatively less crowded, basic cleanliness and maintenance were severely lacking. The complimentary breakfast was very poor in both quality and variety, and the food overall was subpar. Throughout our 3-day stay, the facilities provided felt more like a formality rather than actual services. The pool was dirty and clearly not cleaned or maintained regularly. For the cost charged for a deluxe room, the experience was nowhere near satisfactory -- the room amenities were inadequate, and both room service and staff assistance were extremely slow and unprofessional. Overall, we would not recommend this hotel. If this is the standard during the off-season, it's worrying to imagine how it would be during peak times.
I stayed at Tapovan Hill in November, expecting a 3-star experience, but it fell short in several aspects. Here's a detailed review: Positives: * Service: The staff provided quick and responsive service. * Room Size: Spacious rooms. * Amenities: Hot water was available, and the TV worked fine. * Parking: Separate parking for bikes was a good addition. Areas for Improvement: 1. Cleanliness: The quilt and blanket were dirty, and I had to request replacements. No towels were provided in the bathroom. 2. Cost of Food: The food felt overpriced for its quality. 3. View and Ventilation: The biggest letdown was the blocked windows due to ongoing construction, which resulted in poor ventilation and no natural light. 4. Comfort: While the staff seemed friendly, I felt uncomfortable due to the way they observed guests. Overall: Though some aspects like service and basic amenities were satisfactory, the hotel has significant room for improvement to justify its 3-star classification. I would suggest improving cleanliness, providing a better view, and addressing issues with ventilation.
I was in hotel with my girlfriend, and someone opened door of hotel at night around 11.30 using master key , and hotel don't have physical lock . The hotel manager saw our some private moments , the hotel is very unsafe . I recently stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend, and our experience was deeply unsettling. Around 11:30 PM, someone opened our door using a master key, despite the hotel not having a physical lock on the door. To make matters worse, the hotel manager witnessed some of our private moments, which felt like a massive violation of our privacy. This incident left us feeling incredibly unsafe and uncomfortable, as we never expected such a breach of security. The lack of physical locks on the doors is a major concern, and the failure to protect guest privacy is unacceptable. It's disheartening to know that such an experience can happen at a hotel, where guests should feel secure and respected. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values their safety and privacy. It was a distressing experience, and I will not be returning.
