Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh

It was an amazing experience here. The view from the property has amazing ganga view. The cafeteria balcony and terrace has a stunning ganga view. The receptionist guys were helpful and humble. Special thanks Ankit & Harsh for making our stay smooth. The overall stay was amazing. I would highly recommend to others who come to rishikesh.

Room was gross. They need to get rid of carpets and clean way way better. Had to ask for clean sheets. And the guy knew their practices of reuseing dirty sheets and towels because he stopped me mid sentence as I explained the sheets were not clean. The towels were also not clean. There's a reason they use black towels. I will never stay here again or recommend it. I stayed 2024 but forgot to review. When I arrived they were " cleaning" my room so I went to look. They were drying the towels on the balcony. I noticed a big snag in the fabric of one towel. After check in...I saw it was the same towels in my room. They literally dried them outside and put them back in the room for me to use. This is unconscious to the max. There could be body fluids and poop on those towels. The previous guest could have mopped the floor with the towel, as I did bc the room was so dirty. I checked in late night so I had to stay. Gross gross gross. Maybe it changed. Check the room, check the sheets. Do they look fresh?

The room was hygiene and well maintained. The ganga view from the property was stunning. The food at the cafeteria was delicious and very reasonable. The managers Ankit & Harsh were helpful and friendly. The overall stay was great. I would highly recommend to others who is coming to Rishikesh.

stayed here for just one night, but it was a great experience! The staff was extremely helpful and kind--really made me feel welcome. The location is perfect, and the view from the hostel is absolutely beautiful. I didn't get a chance to try the food at their cafe, but everything else was spot on. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

An Unforgettable Stay at Shalom!|Hospitality was at its peak -- I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Shalom. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the food was absolutely delicious. Sitting on the balcony with a breathtaking view of the Ganga River was an unforgettable experience.||A special shoutout to Harsh, who was incredibly helpful and kind, assisting us whenever we needed. Overall, the trip was an absolute blast, and I'd highly recommend Shalom to anyone visiting the area!
