Om Blessed Cottage

Economical and good. Not in make my trip application but it is good and awesome.

The hotel is situated near Laxman Jhula. The cottage I stayed in was neat and clean and safe, alot of greenery and a beautiful well maintained Garden. ||Good location, Average food, Great hospitality by the staff members, they are respectful. ||Only one thing I didn't like is that you should order your food before 10 pm, after that they will not entertain you, they don't care how much hungry you are.||Except this a peaceful place to stay in reasonable price. ||I would love to stay there again. ||Highly recommended !! | ||

I was booked in here whilst doing a Yoga Teacher Training Course, for 4 weeks. On first appearances it looks really nice. However, the rooms are pretty run down. The bathrooms are not good. The shower only produced a dribble of water, and the tap in the sink barely had any water at all. Luckily the tap by the toilet was fine, so I had to bend down and use that to wash my hands all the time.||Both the bedroom and the toilet were over run with ants - but they didn't come near the bed.||The bed was huge but the pillows really uncomfortable. The sheets were changed when ever you requested, but they were really old and full of holes. I went out and bought myself a bedsheet to cover myself with.||There was AC, and a fan - which I had to use both, as the electricity cuts were two or three times a day - and the generator only produced enough power for the fan.||There was free wi-fi - but this was intermittent.||The staff were generally on the whole really nice. The only issue I had was with one of the 'managers' - who was surly and rude.||||The restaurant was fabulous! Some of the best food I have eaten in India. And the staff in there were generally lovely - the regulars. Some of the helpers, who appeared at odd times were not so friendly. The restaurant is the only reason it has 3 stars and not 2. Worth going here just to eat.

Booked through clear trip with a decent discount, we stayed at hotel for 3 days in october 2015. The rooms were clean and hot running water was available through a geaser. The cottages are good and well maintained. The property is built in a good place. The food at the restaurant is decently priced at 120 Rs per thali. The food is homely and healthy too. The hotel is located walking distance from laxman jhula around 1 km and the view from the hotel is also good. The greenery around the hotel is appreciable. If you want to have a change in menu, you can order through dominos. They deliver outside the hotel.

Last year myself and a few friends came to stay at the Om blessed Cottage. What a wonderful place if you like the peace & tranquility aspect.|| This place is set back from the hustle & bustle of India life but also not too far from laxman Julia and Ram Jhula which are walking distance.||There is a large garden situated in the back of the complex with a beautiful running stream & brightly colored flowers - perfect if you are into meditation relaxation & yoga.||This place also has a family restaurant on site which cooks the most beautiful food. This place is definitely recommended from my perspective as a lone traveling female. Last year I paid Rs.700 per night PS7 GBP which was an absolute bargain. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

Peaceful and romantic mountain view,The hotel is very close to Lakshman Jhula. The ambience and the locations is extremely good. The people at the reception are humble and responsible. They are not trained and certified but they serve better.

Location is pretty cool, there's a stream running just besided the place and its very nice and calm because of that. However, that stream is practically garbage. The taps didn't work. Trust me, the worst case of plumbing that I've ever seen in any of my visits. They have a nice little lawn, which seems cool, so that was nice. And that's all folks.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Even the room service and catering is good. All the amenities are working verg well and rooms are very cosy. Only problem I had was with mice.
