Hotel The Great Ganga

The hotel is finished in a european style with large bedrooms and balconies. The location is excellent - near the footbridge and ferry across the Ganga. It is up a steep hill but they have a small shuttle operating in daytime hours. Restaurant offers good vegatarian (indian and chinese) dishes at decent prices. Best of all though is the service. The reception sorted out yoga classes and booked a couple of trips for us which turned out really excellent. Highly recommend.

I am reviewing the restaurant. The service is absolutely superb every time. Each and every meal was with fresh ingredients and was fantastic. We tried other restaurants nearby and they disappointed and so we ate here ten times in the end. The price is also very reasonable.

Great staff. Excellent rooms with great shower and fabulous bedding. Also, lovely soft towels. Had a refrigerator in room that actually worked and worked well. Great food including room service. Breakfast staff wonderfully. Great stay. Would highly recommend. I had a room with a balcony with a side view of the Ganga. Steep hill to reception but does have a shuttle tuk tuk.

You know you have enjoyed your stay when they make you feel at home. That's how I felt during my recent stay at The Great Ganga.||Perfect location, warm hospitality, amazing food and a room with excellent view!||Special thanks to the desk manager, Mr. Vinod who not only helped during the stay but provided some valuable sight seeing tips.||Such was the hospitality that we extended our stay by one night.||Tip: Book the junior suite if you want the best views, it's worth it.

Amazing property. Ganga facing ,you feel like you resting at the lap of divine river. Restuarant and food is very good. I highly recommend this place for a quick and even long holiday stays. Thanks

My experience with this hotel was excellent. the rooms, location and service and the staff were exceptional and the best i have experienced in a while. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming over for a stay in rishikesh and look forward to coming and staying here back again.

The hotel is very nice plazen, beutiful vew, quaet . Clean desgined simple and elegant. Location is perfect, near to evrything. And the stuf. Where helpful for any need. I will defently be back. I highly recomend it, especialy If you are alone

Very nice hotel. Quiet. Comfortable. Clean and with great views. |Conveniently located to experience the ghat life of river Ganga ji. Places or Spiritual importance are within walking distance. Food quality is decent and services are fit for purpose.
