Himalayan Tree on the Ganges, Rishikesh

Rooms were average with very basic facilities. We booked multiple rooms for big group but after reaching, come to know one of the room does have AC. Food is ok but service was very good. Our special requests got entertained. Staff were very cooperative and understanding. Location is very beautiful and happening. All rooms have beautiful Ganga view. You can easily access the beach and holy River Ganga

Our family had an amazing stay at Himalayan Tree Rishikesh. The hospitality provided by Mr. Deepak and Mr. Vipin made our visit truly memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness, making our celebrations extra special. The hotel itself offers a wonderful ambiance, clean and well-maintained rooms, and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The service is top-notch, and the staff's attention to detail is commendable. We are extremely happy with our experience and will definitely return for future celebrations. Highly recommended! Beside Location that gives access to Ganga river other things are average. Room: Not maintained well, AC water leaking out in balcony and making it slippery. On request they put down the bucket to collect water. Breakfast: It is not up to the mark, Only providing option of Tea for tourists who booked Room with Breakfast. On request they given option for Coffee. Which is better than tea. Idli is fine, Parathas looks like no fillings were there. Service: Pick and drop functionality available, from Laxman Jhula parking and host is attentive. By giving some more attention to the flaws the Hotel can be better, looking forward to stay again once above suggestions implemented.

It's worth noting that the location is excellent, right on the river. And the beds were very comfortable, which are two really important things. On the down side the place looks like it's been abandoned and only recently reoccupied. It was also very difficult to find, for reference go to bliss ghat and continue through the parking lot along the trail, you will need a light if it's dark. You cannot get there from Aloha as Google maps says. The staff, while pleasant, did not speak English, and were primarily interested in the football games they had on. My shower faucet had a short to the water heater and delivered a shock of used, so I avoided showering while there. I've stayed elsewhere in Rishikesh at higher and lower cost rooms and found this one to be below value for the money, although being right on the river was nice. I would say it's quiet but there was a generator running most times just up the hill at aloha or by the river camp which dispelled that quality. Probably some of these issues will be addressed if you visit, it seemed like they were trying to fix the place up.

Our two night stay ended in a horrible way here. We were 11 guests and booked 3 rooms. Upon arrival we found the rooms unimpressive, washrooms were in a bad shape. A stinking smell came from washrooms which they fixed using a freshner. Our package included breakfast, on our first morning we found a hair in Poha which we immediately brought to the notice of staff. Next morning just before checkout we found a cockroach in upma, we literally walked out. The manager was unapologetic at first. How can the chef be so ignorant while preparing meals? Overall this place can be selected only for view from rooms and service of staff.

Friendly staff, luxurious room, and delicious food made my experience unforgettable. I had a bad experience staying at this place. Me and my family came back to our room at 10:05pm and i requested the staff to serve milk for my 1 year old but they outright refused and mentioned that the kitchen is closed at 10 pm. I asked them to fetch it from a nearby shop at Sai ghat which was still open but they still refused. It was drizzling that night. I had to rush and get the milk that night no thanks to the staff. That's the kind of service you get for paying premium price.

I had a wonderful stay at the Himalayan Tree at the Ganges Hotel in Rishikesh. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and the bathroom was hygienic. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I also had dinner there, which was equally good. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Rishikesh!
