GANGA KINARE - A Riverside Boutique Resort

Our return stay at Ganga Kinare Hotel in April 2025 was truly unforgettable! My wife, my in-laws, and I received an exceptionally warm welcome from Kusum and Vidya, who ensured our comfort throughout our stay.||Kusum's assistance began even before our arrival in India, with seamless arrangements. The warm welcome surprise she created in our rooms, knowing it was my in-laws' first time in India, touched our hearts. Her warm smile was a constant delight!||Satpal, our waiter, provided exceptional and pleasant service during breakfast and dinner settings. The chef's culinary skills shone, especially with the amazing Uttapam and Dosas at breakfast.||Our premium rooms were clean, comfortable, chic, and offered breathtaking views of the River Ganga. The piece de resistance was meeting the owner, Mr. Tarun Gulati, who took the time to chat with us. His humility, warmth, and kindness made us feel valued. Very well located with great view of Ganges with private Ghat to bathe .Kusum on front office very efficient and F&B manager and GM were very hospitable. We had a connecting room where a baby cried all night and we couldnt sleep .there is no sound proofing we can hear all talk in the gallery and room .Spa excellent massage by Sita and the man masseur. Food was very tasty ..need to improve the rooms and bathrooms .Bit dated .we had a good stay otherwise. Will definitely return staff very polite.|

Staff is very courteous. Food is excellent. Ambience is too good. Specially view of River Ganga from rooms of hotel is breathtaking. Private ghat of Hotel at the bank of River Ganga is very nice gives you privacy. Maa Ganga Aarti daily is good.

The best part of the property is their private ghat, which is the only property in Rishikesh. |Their food and service were also good. Rooms were neat and clean, but washrooms were a bit small. They can work on their jacuzzi. The views of Ganga were exceptional. |Must recommend this property.

Excellent experience especially the private dip in the holy river. Food and rooms were really good apt for family. They also organise exclusive sightseeing and offer good recommendations to tourists. This was truly such a wonderful trip for all of us.

Hotel Ganga Kinare is possibilly one of the best hotels in Rishikesh. The rooms, food and esp the hospitality presented is unmatched. |If planning for a family vacation then do not think beyond this. |The staff is ever welcoming who will go the extra mile to comfort you with all your needs.

Hotel Ganga Kinare - Jal & Jalebi Restaurant Rating: While walking along the picturesque Marine Drive in Rishikesh, I decided to have dinner at the renowned Hotel Ganga Kinare. The restaurant inside, Jal & Jalebi, seemed inviting, so I entered from the back side and ordered a few dishes. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't as smooth as expected. Though the Chilli Paneer was good and the drink was decent, there was significant confusion with the rest of the order. The staff seemed disorganized -- I would order one dish, and they would bring something else. The most baffling part was the Burani Raita. It was clearly listed on the menu, but when I asked for it, the server insisted that it wasn't available. After some back and forth, it was evident there was a mix-up. Thankfully, Saurav, the manager, stepped in and did his best to rectify the situation, which I genuinely appreciated. His professionalism and efforts to make up for the confusion made a positive difference. The Jalebi was definitely the highlight -- a delightful and satisfying treat. The hotel itself left a good impression with its beautiful entrance and comfortable seating area. Although I didn't stay there, the ambiance was appealing. The staff's sincere apologies and their gesture of offering sweets also showed they valued customer satisfaction. Everyone can have a rough day, and I understand that. Despite the initial issues, I still give it 4 stars for the effort made to improve my experience and the lovely setting. Hopefully, my next visit will be even better!

Excellent hospitality, great service, scrumptious food and a perfect view. Special mention to Ms.Kusum who ensured our stay was perfect and memorable. A must visit property. The spa service and the outdoor jacuzzi is also a highlight of the property.
