GANGA FOREST VIEW (Riverside Homestay)

Rooms are not maintained, we booked this property by seeing a 3-star hotel, but it's not as per images shown here or sent by the booking manager. And they are asking to do the full payment at the time of checkin only, just to scammed the people as they already know no one is going to pay that much of amount after checking the room. They shared the property and room picture by saying the room has a balcony with ganga view, when we checked that time it was a common balcony for all guests. People were shouting by seating in the balcony beside our window. You will continuously hear the other rooms noise. There is a water shortage too for washrooms. This hotel doesn't have a proper entrance, you can't take your bike also till the gate as it's inside the residents colony. No proper road to reach the property. Please don't pay without checking property in person.

Great location, but as there is dam little ahead so ganga coverts into lake. lake front best part of home stay. No in house tea coffee

It's located just beside River Ganga. I loved the stay. Problem: Difficult to reach the location in a car. Talk to the hotel owner for parking in advance.

Rooms are near and clean, but a bit small compared to average room size in hotels. It's located right on the river edge so views are excellent from the location but the approach road to hotel is very narrow so only two wheelers can reach to hotel location. The river barrage road offers good walking space and a quite time to ganga river. Staff are good and polite.

The entrance to the hotel is worse, steep going down, not suitable for elderly people. |No parking space, our car was parked in a building platform in the Gali no 6.|No tea making facility in the room. You have ro request bottled water, bathroom spacious but low pressure hot water. |Photos shown on the website are from the back of the property facing The Ganges , nice view of river and forest.|Needs improvement to customer service and facilties. |Access to the hotel ?|Wouldn't recommend to friends and family. May be suitable for young couples or friends.|Safety on electric sockets , Live wires just hanging outside the socket.

My stay at ganga forest view was not pleasant. They show the fancy room photos but the majority of the rooms are small with doors needing greasing. Great point to notice you will have to deal with the traffic and transport to visit main rishikesh city near tapovan for sightseeing and visiting laxman jhoola, it took me an hour to reach the main city, so be aware of this If you order some food, the waiting time is at least 1 hour as they do not have an inbuilt restaurant. Staff is not too helpful, I asked him, if he can help me with a lighter, he totally refused. They do not provide shampoo or bath soap, which you will feel very disgraceful The bedsheet has several dirt spots. Not pleasant. Same with towels. There were no chairs or tables in the room. Electric switches for bulbs were not working, i needed to cover the bulb with a towel to get sleep. The hotel is located in residential area. Negative point. Other persons were also dissatisfied with their stay. I would not recommend anyone to get a room here. Good things Ganga river in front of stay. Nothing else.

Super nice place. Small and boutique construction still they got good lavish beds and clean bathrooms. The most amazing thing is peaceful surrounding and amazing Ganga view and that too having a ghat just by the side so you can take a dip in Ganga. And cherry on top is very warm welcoming staff.
