MR RIVER RESORT | Luxury & Best Resort/Hotel in Rishikesh

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Price. My today's stay at this property in Rishikesh was extremely disappointing and far from what was promised in the online reviews. The location is good, and the rooms are okay, but the overall experience was severely impacted by the poor service and lack of basic amenities. There is only one staff member managing the entire property. He is responsible for everything -- from cleaning rooms and handling luggage to serving food and providing room service. While he is working tirelessly, it is impossible for one person to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. The food quality was poor, and despite the mentioned dinner timing of 8-10 PM, dinner service only began after 9:30 PM (only main course, no snacks, however they promised snacks as starter before dinner) -- and that too, only after multiple follow-ups. Shockingly, the owner of the property arrived after 8 PM with his own group of guests. He focused entirely on entertaining them with drinks in the common area. When other guests raised concerns about service delays and lack of support, the owner chose to ignore them and locked himself in a room instead of addressing the issues. There are no additional facilities to enjoy -- no outdoor seating, no recreational arrangements, and absolutely nothing to justify the premium pricing of the stay. This was one of my worst experiences in Rishikesh, and I strongly advise future travelers to consider other options. The reality of this property is far from what the online reviews suggest.

We were 14 Sr. Citizens stayed for two days . Hospitality. Food .service all were good. We feel the amazing natural beauty around the resort. Though the room size are little bit small but we enjoyed. Staff are cooperative.

Hotel management behavior very responsible, services are worst, rooms very cheap, pool is to dirty, lunch, breakfast, dinner quality is very cheap... waste of money, waste of time if anyone booked that property

We have stayed here for a weekend, actually the good thing was we were the first customers, this place is beautifully designed and this is run by a amazing family, we have connected with each one of them and they are polite, educated and professional, if you love stays with good people this is the place for you. About this place, they have a big size pool for kids and adults with music and open gym and in terms of rooms they offer three different categories, you can chose accordingly. We will visit this property again, Yoohoo!!

First of All, Big thanks to Shambhu Rawat Ji very nice person. I haven't meet but as per the conversation on call. He understand the value of right customer. I am regular traveling with family. The way he guide and communicate. Awesome . Second Thanks to Mithlesh. Very kind welcoming and helpful person. Apart from all supporting staff also always very attentive and ready to serve with great hospitality. As marked by the words by owner - they always ready for great hospitality. Traveler's need to respect them because they always very clam and respect each guest what I analyzed. Property is well maintained. Reception plus dinning area, pool,rooms, swimming pool. Garden music. All services up the the mark. If we discuss about food which is second but very important after Property. Taste is simple not spicy. For spicy or additional add on, just provide instructions. They will serve you best. But guest first explain the kind of food he loves to eat. Overall best trip for me. Yes traffic makes me tired. Most important matter I need to post is - after drinking few guest are start finding weaknes in food or other services. Don't feel yourself on seven sky after drink. Staff always ready with their best potential and hospitality. Do not disrepect them. Overall Thanks is just small word for you MR River Resort. Thank you

Went for weekend staycation and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Property was beautiful and well maintained and the staff was also very kind. Would highly Recommend.
