Hide-in Rishikesh

Not ideal for families - disappointing experience We made a spontaneous trip to Rishikesh and booked this property for Rs. 9,500 per night for two rooms. Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the cost. Basic amenities were missing -- the air conditioning wasn't working, there was no landline service, and even essential items like toothpaste were not provided. We had specifically booked a "mountain view" room, which was more expensive than the regular rooms. However, a building directly in front completely blocked the view. There was no actual mountain view, so it's unclear why the room cost more. Despite this, the staff insisted it was still a mountain view, which felt quite misleading. When we raised our concerns, we were told, "This is not a hotel, it's a hostel." However, the listing on Google clearly shows it as a hotel, and there is no mention that it's unsuitable for families. To add to the discomfort, there was loud music and noise around 11:00 PM, and even after reporting it, no action was taken. Overall, I would not recommend this place for families. It might be more suitable for solo travelers or groups of friends who don't mind a hostel-like atmosphere.

He helped with every small thing and also gave great guidance for exploring local places. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the view and vibe from the rooftop cafe were amazing. Wonderful stay! The staff was very cooperative and helping. The rooms are very much comforting. Helped us with other requirements as well like scooty and rafting. The hotel is near the market which is actually the ideal location. Games area gives vibrant and peppy vibe. Strong recommendation!

It was a really good experience. Rajat and Vansh were amazing hosts. Very corporative. Over all It was an amazing experience. Rooms were very clean and we also stayed in dormitory for one night those beds were so comfortable.

Great value for money. Quietly placed near walkable distance of Laxman Jhula (which is temporarily closed for rebuilding of new Jhula). Spacious rooms with all basic amenities except few minor breaks. Has balcony as well but view is completely blocked. It has common play area on 4th floor which has pool table and sitting area. If you get stay in cheap rate then this is worth it. Approx 1500/night.

I stayed at Hide-In Hostel in Rishikesh during my short solo trip. The hostel is at a good distance from the Ganga River and Sai Ghat, so it's easy to walk there and enjoy some peaceful time by the river. I couldn't connect much with other people staying at the hostel, but the community manager, Abhishek, was very kind and helpful. He has travelled a lot and shared useful tips about places to visit in Rishikesh. He really made my stay better.

For a person who doesn't review anything, this is the first time I'm reviewing a Hotel. Being a frequent to Rishikesh, I stayed in Hide-in Rishikesh for the first time. Short distance from main attractions and a great service from Mr. Rajat who even helped me and my friend with all the different guidance to adventure sports available, along with clean and hygienic room. This was the best place so far with open garden for a peaceful time. Great work

A wonderful place to stay in Rishikesh! The property is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. I've stayed here twice, and both times, the experience has been great. The rooms are comfortable, and the ambiance is perfect for relaxation. The only downside is that the restaurant service can be a bit slow, but everything else is excellent. Loved my stay--highly recommended!
