Nice hotel in ranikhet. Beautiful view from balcony and restaurant. Food was great but limited options. All staffs are great , ready to help with a big smile. Bathroom was packed with all necessary toiletries. Will recommend to my friends and families and hopefully will come back again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property... The highlights being the bunker beds and the lovely rooftop restaurant, with indoor as well as outdoor seating, which offered a spectacular view of the valley and the mountains around. The food was delicious. The room service was prompt and cheerful. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and tastefully done up. The rooms had huge windows and doors, towards the balcony ensuring that we didn't miss the wonderful views. The washrooms were well designed and had running hot water all through. And, the property lies a few kilometres away from the hustle bustle of the city, being a perfect, peaceful getaway!

Beautiful view great food, friendly staff. Perfect for a quick peaceful getaway. The restaurant has a good view and you can soak in sun there. If you are mountain enthusiast you ll love the views. The top floor rooms give a better view. You get hot water all day from solar heater here.

I initially planned to stay at Stonewoof Villa for just one night, but the experience was so incredible that I couldn't resist extending my stay. The hotel's service is truly top-notch, and the staff, especially Anuj Bhai, is extremely kind and welcoming. The peaceful ambiance of this place, combined with the breathtaking Himalayan views right from my room, made my stay unforgettable. Waking up to such a serene and picturesque landscape was an absolute delight. The entire atmosphere exudes warmth and tranquility, making it a perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. 2 night stayed with family. Kids loved bunk bed. Location of hotel is very good, Hotel located top of a hill. We enjoyed mountain/snow mountain view from Room & from roof top. Hotel staff Anuj was very polite , helpful and cooperative

Review of Stonewood Villa, Ranikhet (Stay from 27th to 28th January) Property & Parking: The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers ample parking space. The serene surroundings and scenic views were a highlight of our stay. Staff & Service: The hotel staff was welcoming but lacked proactiveness. We arrived around 5 PM after a challenging journey through narrow roads, which caused motion sickness and uneasiness for our group. However, no one from the staff inquired about our delay or well-being, which was disappointing. Room Upgrade: The hotel manager was kind enough to upgrade our room from Deluxe to the Oak Family Room with a balcony and bunker beds. This was a thoughtful gesture, and our children enjoyed playing in the spacious room. Food & Dining Experience: The dining experience was a letdown. Due to low occupancy, the hotel offered a limited menu with no tandoor options (snacks or roti), which was a major disappointment for our group. Additionally, we were charged for baby food (khichdi and dalia), unlike other hotels that typically provide such items complimentary. After dinner, I fell ill, possibly due to the food quality, and had to seek medical attention at midnight. The hotel manager was helpful in arranging medicines the next morning, which we appreciated. Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay. Location & Accessibility: Ranikhet, being a heavy cantonment area controlled by the army, has limited accessibility for tourists. There isn't much to explore, which made the trip less enjoyable. We regretted choosing Ranikhet as a destination. Overall Experience: While the property and rooms were great, the lack of proactive service, limited dining options, and the overall inaccessibility of Ranikhet made the trip underwhelming.
