A Hidden Gem in Ranikhet - Seeds Meadows Resort Our stay at Seeds Meadows Resort was an absolute delight! Nestled amidst the serene pine forests of Ranikhet, this place is a haven of peace and natural beauty. The vibrant blooms in the garden, especially the stunning roses, added a magical charm to the mornings. The surrounding forested trails offered perfect moments of solitude and reflection. The food was a highlight -- freshly prepared, tailored to our tastes, and utterly scrumptious. Whether it was a hearty breakfast or a specially cooked dinner, everything was served with warmth and care. What truly sets this resort apart is its hospitality. The staff's genuinely caring attitude -- not just towards guests but also our furry companions -- made us feel at home. Their thoughtful gestures and attention to detail ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with delicious food, natural beauty, and heartfelt hospitality, Seeds Meadows Resort is the perfect choice. Highly recommended
The Resort is accessed after a 700 meter walk & climb from the road head (moderate climb). |At the end, you burst into Nature at its best. Well worth the trudge & sweat. The villas with balconies & tents are located in 10 acres, well spaced out, with a good view of the valleys and mountain range. All this, in the midst of a pine forest, with fruit trees, a beautiful collection of Rose plants, other exotic flowering plants and terraced gardening of organic vegetables.|The Villas are well appointed, comfortable, and attended to by an efficient housekeeping staff. The Resort has its their own dairy, grow organic vegetables or source it from the nearby village.|A bird watchers delight. At sunrise and thereafter, the whole day is filled with many species of birds twittering away with their own bird songs. Serene and tranquil, a place to chill with a book, take short walks in the pine forests, or just sit and gaze at Nature. Evenings spent around well organized bonfire pits, a medley of delectable eats. Listen to the night sounds as you turn in.|The staff are super efficient. A good shout for the Resort Manager Jagdeep Rawat assisted by Pankaj who coordinate the daily operations. A hassle free and seamless Checking In and Out. Not to forget their patience and desire to please even in difficult circumstances.|Needless to say, the F&B of the Resort matches the mood. Their Chefs Harish Joshi & Sunder Singh bringing out a medley of cuisines. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, they produce tasty, well presented and a wide variety of food to satisfy a discerning palate. A special mention for the Kumaoni Thali which was excellent. A good shout out to Vicky & Balwan serving you with a smile, be it room service or at the table. A difficult job managed efficiently.|A definite place to re-visit.
My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Seed @ Queens. It is a beautiful hidden gem tucked away in the hills -- a property that truly stands out for its peaceful charm and uniqueness. Surrounded by nature and far from the chaos of city life, it offered the perfect escape. Each cottage is thoughtfully placed to offer complete privacy, making it an ideal spot to unwind and recharge. What made our experience even more special was the incredible hospitality we received: Manager Jagdeep was extremely accommodating. When we were stuck in a massive traffic jam due to Hanuman Jayanti, he didn't hesitate for a moment and graciously shifted our booking without any hassle -- a gesture we truly appreciated. Chef Joshi is nothing short of a magician in the kitchen. He took the time to understand our preferences and surprised us with delightful recommendations. Every dish was not only unique in flavor but beautifully presented. A special mention to the freshly hand-grounded coriander chutney -- simple yet bursting with flavor! Baalam Singh went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect every time. He had our table set even before we arrived and always greeted us with a warm smile and impeccable service. One thing to note -- the walk from the parking area to the reception is roughly a 600-meter uphill hike. We personally found it to be a lovely and adventurous start to the experience, surrounded by nature. However, it could be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with mobility concerns, so do plan accordingly. This property is a true haven for those looking to slow down and soak in serenity -- made even more memorable by the people who run it with so much heart. We can't wait to return!
A Hidden Gem in the Lap of the Himalayas - The Seed @ Queens Meadows||||Some places don't just meet expectations--they exceed them in every possible way. The Seed @ Queens Meadows is one such gem that has etched itself into our memories forever. While the resort already boasted outstanding reviews across platforms, experiencing it firsthand was truly something special.||||Nestled amidst serene pine forests, this luxury retreat offered everything we could have hoped for. The trek to the cottages might be a challenge for some, but for us, it was an adventure leading to beautifully designed, well-maintained luxury tents. Each tent was thoughtfully equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable family stay, seamlessly blending nature with comfort.||||From our private balcony, we were treated to the symphony of birdsong from a variety of species, all against the breathtaking backdrop of the Nanda Devi Peak and the mighty Himalayas. It was nothing short of magical.||||The local Kumaoni staff, with their humility and warmth, elevated our experience even further. Their exceptional service made us feel truly welcome. A highlight of our stay was indulging in the authentic Kumaoni Thali and other local delicacies--each bite a testament to the region's rich culinary heritage.||||This heavenly abode was exactly what we were seeking--a peaceful retreat amidst the pine forests, with uninterrupted views of the Himalayas. A huge shoutout to Jagdeep (JD) and his amazing team for crafting such an unforgettable experience.||||If you're looking for a place that offers tranquility, breathtaking views, and impeccable hospitality, The Seed @ Queens Meadows is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
Great place for younger Gen and Group. Not recommended for Senior Citizen and Children. Reaching hotel has trekking route of about 600 meters which is very steep. Only one palki available @1500/- per person. Food Menu does not have variety and taste is average. Tent rooms are ok. Check the cost. Actual photo differs.
Very interesting concept of trek to property .. challenges you initially but makes it unigue and absorbing. The stay was comfortable with well appointed rooms with some very well laid out common areas like machan and bonfire pits. Food was nice and hygienic and staff was prompt to respond. All in all a first class stay, recommended.
One of the best holidays I've had so far. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Clean fresh air. Service was excellent, staff very polite and helpful, rooms were very clean and comfortable, food was awesome. There's a climb of 700 metres but trust me, you won't regret it. It's truly worth it. Thank you Seeds
