Hotel Himalaya

hotel is ok but photos are fake. there is no swimming pool as shown in pichtures and no open area. it is an home like building having rooms. rooms were clean and tidy. only issue we faced that they dont have any power backup. and due to local electricity failure the ac and charging points stop working. they only have inverter which is only for lights and fans.

We only booked it for a day stay i.e. just dropped our bags got freshen up and went for Jim Corbett safari. After coming back had food outside and left in the evening for our train journey ahead. So it was okay for keeping bags and freshen up but not really recommended for actual stay. It doesn't have lift you ll have to pick your bags for 2 floors.

Pros :- 1) Good location 2) Nice view 3) Good rooms 4) Good facility Cons :- 1) heater does not work or heat too properly 2) Geaser does not work and they have time for hot water and even in that time frame you won't get hot water. 3) bed mattress and quilt are of no use to keep you warm 4) once order is placed cannot be cancelled even if it is a packed item like cold drink 5) not everything is available which is mentioned in menu and staff will answer this is what it is. 6) parking is an issue in entire nanital and so is at this place but available for limited vehicle. Overall I would recommend you have alternate options in hand and do not books the hotel for long so that you have an option to change if you want.

It's a decent place to stay for a quick stop. The bathrooms are clean and everything is working, the room as a whole is small and WiFi is non-existent. However, the staff is very friendly and are very helpful. It's not a place where one would stay for too long as there is not much to see around either.

Sheet was a bit torn but otherwise room was clean and air conditioning working. Service was questionable. Didn't provide much amenities. Charge was around 2.2 k per day. Was overall okay with the experience

Very supportive owner and staff too, cuisine is also of good quality. We recommend u all to come and enjoy the jungle safari and other nainital's tourist attractions

Website Images are fake. The rooms are suffocating , no ventilation for rooms nor the toilet, dirty shelfs,bedsheets and covers are not clean as well.
