Corbett Jungle Inn , (Hotel/Resort), Ranikhet Road, Mohan, Jim Corbett Park, Dhikala Range, Muhan

This was our first time visiting Jim Corbett and we definitely hit a jackpot when we decided to try a camping spot rather than a glamping/3/4 star hotels. It is a luxury to live amongst the wildlife, witness the animals crossing over to the river every morning and evening, sit by a bonfire and spend the night waiting to hear the call of the deer. If this is not the point of visiting Jim Corbett what is?? The bed and the blankets were warm enough, the room and the bathroom was clean enough for our 3 night stay. Food was 5 minutes drive away. We saw all animals including 4 types of deer, jackels and an elephant right from the inn. We had deers visit us early morning and late night. Spotted several birds too. We missed the tiger though and I was not happy. On our way back we met several people who had taken different safaris hoping to see the tiger but guess what-after paying for the safri all that they saw was a few deer and the jungle. Realisation dawned, it is pure luck to witness a tiger even if you happen to take the safari! The owner of the place is an excellent guide and knows the ins and outs of the area. He took us on a small treck to the river bed to see pugmarks of tiger and deer and even saw jackels here. We stayed here with our 4 year old who enjoyed the most amongst us. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves nature and will definitely visit again. If you do plan to come here don't take the safari instead stay here for 2/3 nights minimum and you will see every type of animal possible. Be ready to stay up and see the night jungle in its full glory. The owner wins our hearts with all his stories and knowledge of the jungle. He is a one person you should meet if you want to know anything about the national park!

This place is at Mohan range, Jim Corbett. If you want to experience nature in true sense this is the best place to stay. For birding enthusiasts this is a paradise. We saw woodpeckers, great hornbill, barbets, minivets and peacocks strolling in the morning.Theres the kosi riverfront at the back and theres a very good chance of wild life sightings. We saw jackals, deer at the riverfront.At night you will hear deer calls and possibility of tiger sightings. Mr.Chandra who is the host is a great person to have great conversations over bonfires and is very helpful.

I spent five nights here in April, and I could have stayed much longer. The setting is very good. A secure compound on top of the river bank. A bird and animal filled narrow strip of forest separates the camp from the river, which can be viewed through gaps in the trees The other side expansive views into wild forest. Both can be observed from the fenced safety of the camp. I saw some wonderful birds without even stepping out of camp. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I was well fed by my host. Chandra also spared no effort in guiding me on trips further afield - walking the riverbed and bank, along the local forest fringes and a magical visit to a local village. I saw a myriad of birds and animals, all safely and with entertaining company. I would not hesitate to return here on a future visit. Thank you, Chandra.

Heart of Jim corbett national park, river side, large forest, wildlife calling, birds music, long river Trail, Pugmark of tiger in Riverside seen, Mr chandra is a nice guide and good knowledge. If you are passionate about raw jungle without luxury this is exactly you are looking for

Nice place full of wild life. We have seen tigresses and cubs right in front of us. Basically it is situated from where tiger move to fetch water. Nice room and open space. Big place for parking. On road and full of greenary

Very basic rooms. Only for real wildlife enthusiasts. Awesome location. One can see lot of wildlife right from the camp. Including elephant and leopard and tiger too. A different experience
