Amazing property and a destination by itself Authors home is a destination by itself. Rooms will give you the feeling of ancient British era. We recently stayed at the property. No words to describe the hospitality of Maj. Gorky Chandola. An absolutely outstanding experience which remains memorable forever. The property is beautiful and well maintained, the views are scenic , all activities are must-do (do try both treks and cycling!) The staff are welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Finding ideal leisure or romantic stay in Pauri Garhwal does not have to be difficult. Welcome to authors home , a nice option for travellers like you. Free internet access is offered to guests and air conditioning is not required due to pleasant weather throughout the year. To all who belongs to metro cities by birth and do not have any hometown or village , then this place will give you that sense of belonging and true feeling of visiting your hometown/village . You did not just delight us, you earned our gratitude. Thank you so much!!!

Author's Home hosted by Maj. Gorki is a lovely 4 bedroom bungalow in Pauri with an amazing view of Himalayan snow peaks. Perfect getaway for family units that comes at a very competitive rate - should seriously consider raising the price. There is sufficient parking and the two persons employed at the site are very hospitable. Major Gorki also visited us during our 5 day stay many times to make sure we were comfortable. All amenities are top class. Will certainly come again.

They are asking 1800 for a single room in the name of a homestay, and the name suggests it's for authors. I don't know how someone could get ideas to be an author here. It looks like an old four-room set adjacent to each other, surrounded by houses everywhere. There is no garden or anything, and the price is very, very high.

A dream location for anyone staying in crowded city like Delhi. Beautiful view, comfortable stay, amazing food and peace of mind. Loved each bit of this stay. :)

Great place with a beautiful view and soothing environment. Good food. Fresh air and everything looks pure. Anyone who wish to take a break from hectic work life can go there to relax.

Situated on an exotic location with the fresh Himalyan air flowing around. Food & Service is extraordinary in this price. Loved my stay here.
