Adara Farmstay

I've slept in hundreds of places but this place is definitely in my top 3 of homestays. Fabulous initiative of karram and lieke having a small community high up in the mountains. Lovely cute place and fabulous hosts. Visit them!

The place is so well maintained and a lot of thought is put into the interior. The location and the view are just perfect. Karan is such a gracious host and if you are coming here, don't miss the Garhwali thali, it is must try!

A very special place! Set facing the most spectacular views of the snowy mountains this beautiful cottage is a delightful place to stay and the perfect place to practice yoga. The project that Karan is leading in the community is really inspiring and the food is delicious and nutritious.

If one could define Home & Love , it's this place. Every little piece at Adara beams of warmth and happiness. Karan is an excellent host, humble , welcoming and full of light. Incredibly talented and kind soul. The non profit work he is doing for the community is amazing and I feel blessed to share a meaning conversations with him about life , yoga , reiki & tarot ( best times). My husband & I were grateful for the scrumptious food Karan & didi cooked for us , it was like a warm hug on a cold winter morning. It's said that few people are like birds , they come in your life to cheer you up and leave you with happy memories. (All good comes back to people who do good , blessings and light for Adara and Karan's new journey ) Location is great and well connected with major attractions of the city. There is a great little cafe just around the corner - The wood fire , where you could have the best coffee , momo and tarts ( must try strawberry tart)

It was a wonderful retreat, heartwarming hospitality by owners. Location is amazing with views of himalay. Homemade food was delicious too. Overall a very nice place to go stay and relax.

A hidden gem in the Garhwal hills! This beautiful farmstay overlooks a large swathe of the Himalayan ranges. On a clear day, one can see not just the snow-capped Uttarakhand Himalayas but also Himachal and Tibet from the over-a-century-old cottage that has been painstakingly restored, and beautifully curated. However, it's not just the location -- the house is situated within Pauri city, offering the conveniences of town life, yet away from the hustle-bustle -- or the architecture which is a fascinating mix of colonial and pahadi, with several eclectic touches thrown in. Adara's USP lies in the warmth of the people who run it. Karan, who has graciously opened up his family home for visitors, is a fabulous host who goes out of the way to ensure guests feel comfortable. He is ably assisted by the ever-smiling 'didis' who can whip up the most delicious food, often based on organic vegetables grown on the farm. We had a memorable Diwali celebration at Adara, and our children made new friends in Sonam, Suraj and little Aru, a bundle of cuteness who charmed everyone's hearts. And yes, as a bonus for art-lovers, the place's character is further enlivened by the breathtaking wall paintings done by Lieke, Karan's Russian partner, and a host of other artists. Definitely a must-visit and highly recommended if you are going to Pauri Garhwal

It's very nice and calm place you can enjoy your stay with your friends and family.Adara offers serene natural beauty along with old school architecture homestay and local food too , Karan and his didi are very nice and warm people . If you want peace and a place where you can think about things be there at Adara , you'll have a lifetime experience.

My experience was amazing with Adara Farmstay. It was so quiet and peaceful with amazing hosts. The place was extremely neat and clean and has a positive vibe. It's decorated like a fairytale home or you can say a Dreamland Absolutely safe and secure and easy to reach, great for couples, friends and family!! We were 4 people travelling and our trip just got super awesome because of this place. We got really tasty food and snacks for reasonable price. Hosts were so nice and humble that we didn't feel like coming back from there..They also gifted us hand made book marks while coming back..MUST VISIT
