Hotel Hill View Bar & Resturant

I made a walk-in reservation here late afternoon for a 5-hour layover between Lansdowne and Delhi.||||Room: spotlessly clean, great fluffy pillows & soft quilt. A bit small, but I am assuming that is because I bargained the tariff and stressed that I wasn't looking for luxury. I was still able to walk around the room comfortably.||||Bathroom: reasonably clean, independent water heater.||||Location: An easy 5-minute walk from the railway station. If you have luggage, an auto rickshaw will take you there for 15-20 rupees. The view from my room on the 3rd floor was also pleasant. (Note: they do not have balconies within the rooms, but a common corridor with the rooms all on one side)||||Food: The food was very good, although how I came to taste it is a story in itself.||||Service: 5 stars.||||Apparently, the hotel was booked by a large group for a private event in the evening, and somehow they bungled my dinner order, and also delayed in correcting it so that I had to cancel my order.||||I was pleasantly surprised when I approached the front desk to check out. The manager (or owner?) apologised profusely. He also offered a complimentary full meal that they had efficiently packed, which I declined. I requsted them to just get me an auto to the station as I was quite tired. However, he insisted on dropping me off. Imagine my surprise when, even at the station, he kept pleading me to accept their complimentary meal. So sincere was his voice that I relented.||||I give their service 5 stars because they really understand what customer service means - and they really treated this customer as a guest.||||Oh, and the naan and butter chicken meal they had packed was delicious.

I booked this hotel for my parents in Dec 2015. It was very near from railway station and the Siddhbali temple(which is main attraction of this place). It is just a small hotel with neat, clean rooms, well maintained, with very good and courteous service, helpful and very cooperative staff. They have good food. Breakfast and dinner was included. They are quite flexible with the meal timings and menu.||To summarize, great value for money and amazing hospitality.||Rooms are on 2nd floor and no elevator.

It is completely opposite to what it was shown on the website of @makemytrip. The cement was chipping of the wall. The hotel staff was not following any safety measure for the covid. The water and electricity supply was proper in the rooms. No late night food arrangements in the hotel. It is complete waste of money which was paid for it.

The most underrated hotel of kotdwara. It has the potential of becoming big name. Nice food. ... Good room quality at good price. Ac/non AC rooms available. Hotel + resturant. Near garage and old cinema canteen road kotdwara. I am sure u all gonna like it

nicely maintained room, helpful staff. comfortable distance from city center...||a lovely place for quiet evenings.... would love to come back whnever possible.||Best at the cost incurred.||Keep up the good work...

Rooms are casually designed but have gone old, it's 3 story building with party lawns no restaurant and no parking facility, room service is okay but late and staff is loyal
