The sunbird retreat

The staff is very supporting. We went there with our dog and the staff provided all the support needed to make this a nice experience for us and our dog. Location is good, and we got the silence which we wanted. Go for it if you want to stay in a quiet place.

There are few issues I must highlight. There is a problem of hygiene, the serving staff was touching a cat and handling food without washing hands. The cat also use to enter their kitchen. Also, I left my towel to dry right outside my room, a dog came and peed on it. I am sure they will wash it and give it to next guest.

The sunbird retreat was a great find! A perfect location for those who are looking to work remotely and spend time amidst beautiful mountains ( it is an hour away from Nainital). The place is well maintained, quiet and quaint. The staff is helpful and more than willing to adjust the cooking to your liking- going the extra mile. It is pet friendly - an added advantage to pet lovers. One aspect I felt could have been better was Maintenece of their garden, beautiful trees with flowers were dried up, there was chips/ bottles lying in places ( probably left behind by earlier guests)- cleaning it up would be good. Would Highly recommend it for a quiet getaway.

Had a very nice stay at this resort. Resort overlooking the mountains was outstanding. Food was also tasty All the staff members (rohit ,the chef and inder) were very good and welcoming. Recommend this place to everyone.

No mobile connectivity no wifi so you are cute from the outside world this is the beauty of this place. This place is so amazing and in nature that u feel like to be here always. Beautiful and senescence views from room and specially from restaurant. Power and hot water issues in winter bit don't go here for luxurious stay. It's more of nature camp. Food is amazing and place is great

Best experience, the day we reached they gave a most warm welcome and hospitality is really excellent, they have good activities as well which we didn't expect it at all i highly recommend this place less crowded peaceful environment

One of the bestest place of my trip. Awesome room. Wonderful outside view Peaceful surroundings. I am surely visit it again and again
