Hotel Le ROI Lake View, Koti

Overall, I liked the experience at this place. Sharing my experience list: Check-in - Process was smooth but no staff for serving a welcome drink or even to get bags. We waited for almost 10 minutes and finally started to walk carrying our bags when someone came to take the bags. Another family that checked-in with us, had to carry their own bags Room - Room was big and spacious, with a large bed view of the lake from one window (though I couldn't get a lake view room) and everything you need for a comfortable stay but it still lacked a few. No slippers for the guests, no dustbin in washroom, water seepage in bathroom and the strong smell from it. Service - Service at the restaurant is good but can definitely be better, there are areas that can be improved like speed. Food - While the taste is great, there are many items in the menu that they don't serve. Per me, there's no point in keeping an exhaustive menu when you can't deliver it. Would I visit again - Yes, since it still offers some good points like lake view, proximity to the water sports, good food etc.

Stayed for a night in premium room with great view of the lake and mountains. Room was spacious and loved it. Enjoyed the dinner with live music. Taste and service can be improved a bit. Overall, I would rate 4.5 and 5/5 for location and room.

The hotel is very good. One can reach the lake on foot within ten minutes and enjoy. Service is also very good. Only issue is that at a crucial junction of NH 707 and Tehri to Chamba road there should be a sign board indicating the direction to this hotel as the guests continue driving along NH 707.

I have booked a room for a day 15-16 Mar 25 at Koti. The booking was confirmed by the hotel. On the 15th, I reached the property and approached the reception counter at around 11:00 AM. The reception person asked to come at 14:00 Hr... for check-in. While asking the reason for the delay, the counter person replied, "The existing guest has not yet released the room and paid an extra amount for his extra hour's stay". How can he say like this? This means for some hrs," property had charged from the existing guest as well from me". The reception person was seen as very cool and hard-faced, and he was not sorry for the delayed check-in. The said person was not making any eye-to-eye contact while talking, as if he was very busy. Finally, we were allowed to check in at around 14:15 hr. I hope from the CCTV footage, you will recall all. Request mgt to look into this and reply. Regards Tapan Roy

Rooms beautiful. Location is very key point for this hotel. Room service is excellent. Food option is plentiful. Overall value for money. Only thing is make sure type of room you want at the time of booking. Room upgrade charge is very high.

Service was good, and the room was neat and clean. Rooms are basic but have all necessary amenities, such as air conditioning, hot water, a TV, and Wi-Fi, making them suitable for families. They also have a restaurant serving reliable food. The owner is also very polite.

As a group of 6 we stayed in 3 rooms at Le Roi Koti, facing the Tehri Lake. The location was superb, the rooms were large sized, clean, nicely heated and pleasant, with well appointed bathrooms. The food was tasty and served quickly both in the restaurant and in the room. We appreciated Manisha at the front desk who along with the other staff was always smiling friendly and helpful. One of our group had a walking impediment but this hotel was fine for her. It all made for an enjoyable stay.
