Peaceful Retreat in Nature - Highly Recommended! We stayed at Azalia Resort in Tehri for our 20-year college reunion, and it was an incredible experience! The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of the distant Tehri Dam. Rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The food was outstanding - from Chicken Curry to Idli-Sambar, everything was delicious and customizable. The staff was polite and helpful, guiding us from Gaja (11 km away). While it's a remote location and a 3-hour drive from Rishikesh, the tranquility is totally worth it. No TVs in rooms, which adds to the charm - we loved playing carrom and relaxing outdoors. Just watch out for monkeys in the morning if you're with kids. Highly recommended for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

If you are looking to run away from the hustle and bustle of city life and want peace of mind then this is your go to destination. We went to Azalia to celebrate our 20 years of college reunion. We were a group of 15 people with kids, and believe me we had an awesome time there. The resort has been maintained very well with lots of flowers and plants to make you feel close to the nature. Rooms are big, nice and clean. You will find nice artwork and painting in the room which will catch your attention. The washrooms were super clean with hot water available round the clock. You can expect basic hair dryer and room heaters in the room. From the window you can see the Tehri dam which looks so beautiful surrounded by mountains. Though Tehri dam is 50 kms away from the resort.||The food was awesome, during our two days stay we had Chicken Curry, Kadhai Chicken, Chilli Panner, Matar Panner, Paratha, Bread Omelette, Fresh Fruits, Shakes, Idli Sambar and many other lip smacking items. The chef is great and can customise as per your request.||The staff was courteous and they guided us on how to reach the resort from Gaja which is 11km away from there.||The resort is at a remote location, so be prepared for a long drive in the hills. From Rishikesh it took us 3 hrs to reach the resort cos of steep hills, but when you will reach there you will not regret.||There was no TV in any room which makes it more great as you can soak in the sun and enjoy the nature with your loved ones. We played carrom sitting outside and enjoyed the nature.||There might be monkies bothering you in the morning, so be alert if you are with kids. Overall good experience, the resort is awesome!

We recently visited this beautiful place made with lots of love and great planning by the owner. This resort is ideal for nature lovers and who can appreciate the peace, remoteness and also the difficulty in constructing such a well planned place. The resort has views of the Bhagirathi River and few of the snow peaked Himalayan mountains. The rooms are beautifully done, very well sun lit throughout the day and with great choice of furniture. The staff are well trained, very helpful and the food was cooked almost home-style. The chef Mr. Vishal was extremely responsive to our needs and made amazing dishes during our stay. We really liked the way the Manager Mr. Ramniwas kept in touch during our arrival day guiding us to the location. We also had the chance to meet the passionate owner Mr. Joydeb and understand how he ideated and builtup this wonderful place. There are some nearby places to see and explore, the Tehri dam, Tehri water sports, Mata Chandrabadani temple. Of course the resort open area and the beautiful access road through the village is easiest to explore and you can catch a glimpse of beautiful Himalayan birds. Also, don't miss the beautiful Sunrise through the serene mountain ranges!

The maintenance of the property is top-notch -- everything is clean, well-kept, and beautifully designed, making it a perfect getaway. What stood out most was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the welcoming check-in to the thoughtful touches throughout, their dedication to providing excellent service was evident at every turn.

It was an amazing stay. The rooms are beautifully designed. The most beautiful part of the place is the location and thoughtfully designed rooms. The owners have tried to reduce carbon footprints as much as they can, be it the design, the structure of their ways water management. Would love to visit again.

Visited Azalea in Feb 2025 along with 2 families, stayed in family suite which has 2 bedrooms. Super clean and well maintained. Staff is courteous. Food is super delicious by chef vishal , had chinese, indian and south indian. 50 min drive to tehri lake. Roads are good. Highly recommend place to stay
