Tehri lake view resorts and cottages

My experience at Lake View Resort, Tehri, was disappointing. While the food was excellent and the rooms were clean, the front desk staff displayed unprofessional behavior. Despite booking 20 days in advance and specifically requesting a top-floor room with the best lake view, we were given a room on the first floor. When we requested a change, we were told the top-floor rooms were fully booked, but the staff's attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. Additionally, there was no hot water available, and when we tried to contact the front desk, the phone was continuously engaged. This lack of basic services and customer care made the stay less enjoyable.

They actually SCAMMED me , am a travel agent , they can scam me , i don't know what they can do to a common person not from travel industry , they charged me per person basis which they told me 1800 per person . means 2 adult and one child will be above 4000 that is for a normal tent without AC , and after reaching there i came to know AC cottages are available for 3000 per night and the Non Ac tent in which i stayed was 1700 (which i came to know after reaching there at time of check out ). So does that mean they are giving one dinner and breakfast was around 1500. which was not worth that much nor the tent was worth 3000 from any angle i have shared pics of tent as well , please make sure you don't book this hotel on per person basis. on there website also they have written per person rates although you will not get any of things in list of package like dogra bridge visit , snacks , dj night etc . its just to fool . they are scammers , they might tell you per person rates and give you a package . but u will get nothing in package else food and tent or cottage . per person rate basis makes it very costly , you will get many much more better options in that price .

Very bad and unprofessional service,booked the resort and paid the advance money to me Kuldeep and he confirmed the booking on WhatsApp.but later he was not picking call and on reaching there is housefull and cottages given to another customer. So do not trust and do not Book,very far and isolated location.

It's a govt based hotel. Food quality is good. Hotel staff is very cooperative and supportive. The room is very big and good in condition. The rates are very nominal and budgeted. Couple friendly rooms are there. We have booked a room for 2250 rupees for one night. We visited there on 1 November and the weather is awesome that time. You can book it for family and friends. The condition and interior of the hotel is good. At the back of the hotel you can find the lake view and there is one on which you can sit and enjoy the lake view. If you want than you can enjoy tea and snacks there. The sunrise is very beautiful from that side.

What a wonderful place to be ! More than Spacious rooms with perfect view. Situated right on the lake itself !!! Has attached lake kind off. Wonderful is an understatement to describe the view and location. Nearby water sports facility as well. Amazing food and courteous staff. Amazingly peaceful place.

Worst place and worst management. Totally deserted. Food starving. No proper access road. Vehicles cant reach. Had to climb down 100 feet to reach poorly maintained tents. Planned for 2 nights but felt like running away immediately. Don't waste time and money for this third rate property. Families must avoid. For people who can stay anywhere in jungle can visit in the name of adventure.

It was ok ok. The service quality was not good. However the quality of the room and the hotel was very good. Room size was bigger and they have bath tubs as well. The rates that they told me were 4000 and 3000 RS Room according to the facilities they provide or the extra facilities. Prices were too high but they provided us the Room @1800/- RS for 3 persons in which no food was included. They gave us @1800 because we checked in at 10:00 PM and checked out at 8:00 AM. We were not able to find the hotel's too near this hotel.

This tehri Lake resort is adjacent to Tehri Lake Boat Club and has a very beautiful lake view. Prices are affordable and fixed. it is a GMVN property with very spacious wooden cottages.Must visit place and easy to find.
