India Hotel - Mall Road Nainital - Lake View

Rooms are really bad. They have very very very old furniture, creaking doors, very hard and thin mattresses. Old sheets were used. They had not been washed before handing over to us from previous occupant. Housekeeping is poor. The entire bathroom was wet when handed over. Had to get housekeeping done. No hot water. Only farcical. Luke warm will come after draining out 5-6 20 litte buckets. No hot(Luke warm) water provision in wash basin. Use good old bucket and mug. Heaters can be obtained at additional cost. The heaters are also the very old variety which has red hot elements. So you cant sleep. Basically they are fleecing people only for the excellent location. They have no intention to provide good service or an experience. Super expensive for Rs. 6000 that they charge. Much better hotels in same location are available. We learnt it the hard way. From the responses of the owner, you will realise that he doesn't care about poor reviews. Shows the attitude. He responds mainly to favourable reviews. Sic.

Location is amazing...||Staff is courteous and attentive. We booked 3 rooms with a Lake view. |The view was so mesmerising. Food is delicious with affordable prices. ||The location is the USP of this hotel. Sightseeing places are near by so easy to go there.

India Hotel - Extremely Disappointing Experience|||One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. We booked four rooms on the first floor through an online platform, relying on the reviews and room photos they provided. But the reality was completely different.||Before booking, I even spoke to their representative, who assured us that the rooms had world-class facilities. Sadly, this was far from the truth.||We stayed for two days only because we had paid the full amount in advance. After 10 PM, there were no intercom services available. The washrooms had almost no water supply, and the overall condition of the rooms was absolutely pathetic.

Amazing Lake View Stay with Great Service We had a fantastic stay at India Hotel on Mall Road in Nainital! The lake view from our room was absolutely stunning and made our trip so special. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, and the location is perfect--right on Mall Road, close to shops and attractions. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing and memorable trip. Highly recommended!

Let me give an honest review so that it can help others. 1) Location- Best, since it is on the mall road 2) Cleanliness- Worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Understood that it is a really old property, but that can be managed. Bathroom is really unhygienic. With disgusting marks on the WC/basin and even walls. The mirror hanged in the bathroom is as disgusting as a dirty dustbin. Doors are equally with dirty stains on them. 3) Room- Even considering the location it should not be more than 3K. The furniture is nothing better than an old govt office. Everything was almost broken. Sarkari looking stools and tables were kept in the rooms. The sofa in the room was stinking and was extremely dirty. 4) Beddings- sheets and blanket had stains on it like it was already used. This hotel needs a serious managerial skills to check the infrastructure and hygiene. Specially if someone is paying whooping amount of 7800 for one night.

We had a wonderful stay at India Hotel, Mall Road, Nainital. The location is perfect, offering beautiful views of Naini Lake and easy access to the local market. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A great choice for a peaceful and convenient stay. Highly recommended!

Me and my husband went there for our honeymoon . it was great holiday for us .!!!!. . me and my husband liked the foods and desserts are the best. .Our room was enormus !! They are cleaning the rooms almost every hour... receprion was very helpful very helpful. hotel is in very good location we will go there next year ! | . Thank you for everything......!!!!!!!

I have just checked their rooms its not worth it.. Very very expensive. Only positive thing about hotel is its opp to lake on mall road. There are much more good hotels in nainital with cheap rates. I won't suggest this hotel to anyone.
