From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the top-notch service at Hotel Lake and Woods. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. We had bad experience with this hotel, all the good reviews are fake and paid. About the location: The location is not easily accessible and have to struggle to reach here. Best of luck if you have luggage. About the room: Rooms are dirty with no clean bedsheets and bad quality mattress. The room they claim as a lake view isn't really a lake view room, its just a side view of the lake visible only from one angle. They will not provide handwash, dental kit,.etc. Surprised to see they charged ~4.5k for the room and are not even providing the basic things. About the staff behaviour: The staff are rude don't know how to talk, they think the only way of communicating is being rude. When I complain about anything, they just mention "I haven't taken the booking talk to the person you booked from". I booked from Cleartrip and the customer support response was everything is managed by the hotel and they can't do anything. This hotel is good, only if you get it in ~1.5k per night. I searched for other hotels, most of the reviews seems to be fake after this experience.

I stayed in this hotel from 12-Apr-2025 to 14-Apr-2025 I had a disappointing experience during my stay. The room service was very poor -- staff were unresponsive and took too long to attend to requests. On top of that, the geyser in the bathroom was not working, which made things even more inconvenient. Not what I expected for the price I paid. Would not recommend unless these issues are fixed.

WORST EXPERIENCE!! DON'T BOOK THE ROOM HERE... We had booked a deluxe room; however, the quality of accommodation did not reflect the expectations typically associated with a 'deluxe' category. The bedsheets and pillow covers were stained, no toiletries were provided, and the washroom was in a substandard condition--not in line with the norms of hill station hotels. The geyser was non-functional, and despite multiple requests, no action was taken by the hotel staff. Additionally, due to recent whitewashing, there was a persistent smell of paint throughout our stay, which made the environment quite uncomfortable. The electricity supply was also irregular. Furthermore, the food served was unhygienically prepared, adding to the overall dissatisfaction. It was a highly disappointing experience.
