Excellent stay. Super heritage boutique hotel. Staff is very courteous. Food also superb. Prompt service. Our large group of all ages were v happy staying here during all 4 days. Free shuttle service is available for any number of times. We recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent hospitality, awesome food and very Cooperative and courteous staff. Stay was very comfortable.i strongly recommend this hotel if you want to have a memorable stay in Nainital. It is heart of the city and very easy to access all other locations.
Location is good but all rooms doesn't have same view. Room heater not always working. If you don't take a meal plan they are least interested to serve you food. 50 percent of food mentioned in the menu not available. But whatever they prepare that is tasty.
My wife and I, along with another couple, chose the Chevron Fairheavens for our Valentine's Day getaway. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations.|Firstly, the hotel's location is extremely difficult to access. The approach road is incredibly steep, making walking impossible. A vehicle is absolutely essential, and even then, the incline is so severe that we were concerned our car might roll backward at times.|While the hotel boasts a heritage feel with its predominantly wooden construction, the property is poorly maintained. The wood has lost its luster, and the overall impression is shabby. This, combined with the lack of an elevator, makes it unsuitable for senior citizens, as navigating the steep, creaking wooden stairs to the upper floors is challenging.|Upon checking in, we discovered dirty, stained bedsheets. Furthermore, the room lacked basic amenities such as a dental kit, shampoo, and conditioner. We were informed that these are only provided upon request, a policy we found unusual and inconvenient. The creaking wooden floors were another issue. Our walking around disturbed the guests below, a ridiculous situation that essentially meant we couldn't move freely in our room. To add to our disappointment, the female receptionist was unfriendly and dismissive, even smirking when we raised our concerns about the bedsheets. The bathroom near the dining hall was also dirty and poorly maintained.|The poor service extended to room service as well. Despite the advertised last order time of 10 pm, the room service boy, Devendra, insisted we eat before 9 pm as that was his closing time. He repeatedly pressured us when we placed our order and, without any prior notice, delivered the food to our room at 9:15 pm, well before we expected it, simply because he wanted to leave. With no other room service staff available, we were left with no choice but to eat then. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.|Overall, the Chevron Fairheavens is significantly overpriced for the quality of accommodation and service it offers. The poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and pushy, inconsiderate room service, combined with the difficult access, made it a truly disappointing experience, and I would certainly not recommend it.
Everything was perfectly fine and it was a very good experience with a good service staff and with a beautiful view and it's a vintage hotel must visit once with 5 star service and in a 5 star hotel with a beautiful location and garden area is too beautiful with the view and rooms are good and spacious and must try super deluxe one. We were 5 people and had a very good time in this chevron fairheaven hotel
The hotel is a 3 star property. Very average food. They breakfast or dinner that we had there is placed for two hours. but it is always cold. The do not have food warmers. They pace your food in hot water. Which does not keep your food warm.|1. Hygeine and cleanliness not very good.|2. Food quality and taste average|3. Service is also average |4. Location is not a problem as they have shuttle service. So location is good. you can travel to the lake and Mall road easily.|5.The property is good. But they need to make the room interiors better.Service better and food should always be warm.|6 Hotel backyard was stinking due to open drains. They need to take care of environment and keep everything clean
**Warning: Do not book this hotel for your wedding.** They do not have enough space and are very convincing in their sales pitch. They will pressure you by claiming the hotel is getting fully booked and urge you to make a reservation. Once you book, they will take your money and will not refund it. I had booked Chevron for my wedding, which was originally scheduled for January 21, 2025. Unfortunately, I lost my uncle and requested to change the date to February. However, they refused to accommodate my request and took a booking amount of 2,36,000. I live in Gurgaon, and it's very difficult for me to visit the venue, especially since our wedding was planned for next month. I have all the proof of payments and their commitments. Please don't fall into the same trap we did. Additionally, the location is not suitable for children or senior citizens.
My family and I recently embarked on a whirlwind adventure to Nainital, and our stay at Chevron Fairhavens was a mixed bag of delights and disappointments. The Cream of the Crop: 1. Throwing open the front windows was like unwrapping a gift - a breathtaking panorama of the lake that could make even the grumpiest cat purr with joy. 2. The night sky was a dazzling spectacle, as if the stars had RSVP'd to an exclusive cosmic party just for us. The Meh Middle: 1. The rooms were as spacious as a ballroom, but the beds and pillows were so firm, I half-expected them to salute me good morning. 2. Breakfast was a culinary shrug - the taste and variety were as exciting as a tax return, and certainly not worth shelling out extra cash for. The Bottom of the Barrel: 1. Sure, the 100-year-old property had a certain vintage charm, but the creaking floors were a symphony of annoyance, with nails and fixes spread all across. 2. The wooden flooring desperately needed a sealant intervention - I could hear every snore, squabble, and parental plea from neighboring rooms. One guy's nasal serenade kept me up all night, while a couple's shouting match with their kids was like an unwanted alarm clock. 3. Could see bug remains here and there. Luckily they weren't alive. Phewww!!! We paid 7k/night for this which is way expensive for the overall spread of service. I would still say, staff is pretty good but rooms itself needs attention.
