Sandoz Palm Retreat, Mussoorie

Firstly the manager gave us a pathetic room where tv was not visible from the bed because we have booked the room at a very cheap price..Then i asked the manager to change my room. He said arrogantly that we don't have any other rooms available. Then I requested him again and then finally he gave me another room that was just next to my previous room. The manager was a liar n a rude arrogant guy. The staff also wasn't helpful at all. It was raining heavily when we reached the hotel. I asked one of their staff that can you please hold the umbrella for me so that i can take out one of my bag that contains some important stuff. He said clearly NO to me. Then they took our car somewhere for 30 mins for their personal use at the name of parking without taking out our luggage whereas the parking was right next to the hotel. We were looking for our car to change our wet shoes and they said the person is coming in 2 mins, he is taking a U turn from mall road. We waited for half an hour for our car to change our wet shoes. Still the manager was behaving arrogantly. Very irritating fake smile he has.. joker And there was also a very bad smell coming on the 1st floor hotel lobby from their restaurant washroom which was between the stairs area all the time.

Rooms were pretty unclean, with bedsheets and towels stained and dirty. It was also pretty loud at night from the noise in the street and the shouting of kids and slamming doors inside the hotel. We only went there because every other place was booked out. Only good thing was the staff which was friendly enough and kind.

Honest review - location is very good and yes i didn't pay for the parking, i took the superior room it was nice and spacious, service was quick, food isn't that tasty... the thing that i didn't like is the wall it has little spots. Overall if you are looking for a hotel on the mall road its the best trust me

I went to Sandoz for the first time and it was a very good experience. Along with the rooms, I got to see a wonderful view. The workers did a very good job and the arrangement for food and breakfast was very good.

Very poor in everything washroom are not clean .all things are 3rd class as you see in videos Even shower do not work Flush don't have water Rooms are not clean

Google + make my trip are making fool out of everybody by posting nice reviews. Trust me most of the reviews are self uploaded by the hotel. I booked the hotel looking the images where they had gallery in their pictures. The room given to me, forget about gallery it did not had a window as well. Bedsheets had black spots, towels given were all wet. Room was smelly. The electric kettle was so dirty, not sure when it was last cleaned. I asked the hotel staff to get me another one. He cleaned the same one and gave it me. Upon asking why he did not give me a new one, he said the property is sold out I can't give another one. I asked why they dnt have extra kettles he said we just dnt have. All in all I had a terrible experience and will not recommend it to anybody. Absolutely nobody.

Jai kant shikre on the main gate is one if the best person. His hospitality is highly recommended. Thank you
