Macquary inn, Home stay (Suncrest)

Booked their terrace view rooms for 3days. When we checked out we wish if we could stay for 3 more days. Staff behaviour food room service cleanliness everything was fabulous. We enjoyed our lunch and dinner for all the 3 days there. Tried allmost all of their mughlai and Chinese varieties. each and every item was scrumptious. I also like the manner and courtsey of the room service also. I had my 1.5yr baby and my parents also with me. They also enjoyed a lot. Overall experience was awesome. A big recommendation for maccquary inn homestay.

I was shocked to meet such shallow people at the reception. I went there to get rooms for my child's nanny and they were rude and very disrespectful. They said 'we don't have rooms for callgirls.' We were staying at pine retreat and we were looking for something close to keep our nanny. This is the closest to that hotel but they very were disappointing. They said the room cost to be 2500/- before they knew it's for our nanny and then said no we charge 10k for the room because the other person has already honoured the lady with us with such lowly words.

We had a great stay at Macquary Inn. We had a deluxe room with a view of the valley. We liked it so much that we extended our stay and were there for a week. Let me list out some pros/cons of the property. Pros : Location: Great. Middle of Mall Road. If you are looking for a more offbeat location, this isn't it. Service: Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. Food: Surprisingly the food is good (even though we didn't see many folks eating in). Prices reasonable compared to rest of mall road and excellent taste. Views: Great views from the terrace and some rooms. Property: Good sized rooms and very clean throughout. Cons: No power backup as it's marketed as a home stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful, always ready with a warm smile. The food was delicious; I couldn't get enough of it. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was a delight. The rooms were clean and comfy, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel for its great staff and scrumptious food. It made my trip truly memorable!

Rooms are immaculately clean and well maintained, service top class .... Food is awesome. Total value for money. Whatever issue regarding climbing stairs , it was manageable even with senior citizens and infant, with the "always on service attitude of the boys". 15 rooms , terrace view rooms have least stairs. No extra charge for room service of foods, which is common is mussorie though. Very reasonable rate. Do try their veg Maggie, chicken curry and lemon honey tea. Location is near Jhula Ghar in mall road.

While traveling with family, I stayed with them for three nights. The homestay experience was wonderful. The room was clean, the hotel service was good. I visited there in late December so they provided us room heater. The welcome was warm and nice. They treated us like a family member. I wanted to talk about more food. If you just tell them you want this meal, they'll prepare it for you, like you don't want to eat outside food afterward. A cab has also been arranged for us. Whenever Massorie trip is discussed at home, this homestay and their hospitality are always praised. In addition, they have a perfect sunset view and a pretty sun view.

One of the best stay..room was really clean and maintained..view from hotel was amazing..service was good.
