The Mud house, Mussoorie

Stayed here for a night in June 2023 and loved everything about this place. The food was good, the staff was polite and the view was simply breathtaking. It's located before the Kempty Falls away from the Mussoorie hustle and traffic. There's an area to experience adventure and activities also close to this place besides the mystery waterfall. I'd like to recommend at least 2 nights stay here. The staff was really nice to cook & serve food for us as a short notice. Would definitely visit again for our next vacation.

This place is so good to stay calmly. It has a nearby waterfall named Secret waterfall. The staff is only 3-4 people so it becomes a little hectic. But the views are breathtaking The rooms are neat and clean and the property is also nice You have to climb the stairs up and down to reach to the hotel. They charge you for heater and bonfire. Geyser are there in the rooms itself . comfortable doms.. loved my stay it is pet friendly

It's the perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and recharge. The real standout of our stay, though, was the hospitality. Karanjeet Singh, the property manager, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His warmth and attention to detail ensured we had everything we needed, and he made sure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. His knowledge of the area and friendly demeanor really enhanced the experience. If you're looking for a serene, nature-filled retreat with excellent service, I highly recommend The Mud House. It's a hidden gem near Secret Waterfall!

One of the best location to stay away from crowded city. Great hospitality. Recommended place. Near to few tourist locations

Our recent stay at Mud House Hotel near Kempty Road in Mussoorie was nothing short of magical. We booked one mud room and one dormitory, and both were beautifully designed, providing an authentic and cozy experience. With nine family members, we stayed for two days but wished we could have extended our visit. Two of them were 70+ in age , dadis , even they could enjoy the place due to support from staff and managers The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking and truly life-giving. Just a short distance away is the Secret Waterfall, an incredible spot that is well worth your time--a must-visit for anyone staying in the area. A special mention goes to the manager, Karan Ji, and the entire staff, who were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more pleasant. Their hospitality made us feel less like guests in a hotel and more like part of a home nestled in the mountains. Leaving this place was incredibly difficult, as it created a lifetime of wonderful memories for our family. If you're looking for a place that offers stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and a warm, home-like atmosphere, Mud House Hotel is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

The place is amazing....has awesome views and a relaxing atmosphere...just come there and relax....staff is also very cooperative... Food menu is limited but the food is fresh and tasty...and very reasonably priced.... The caretaker Karan is very helpful and always available.

Positive: Nice room, calm location compared to the rest of Mussoorie (but still not completely surrounded by nature). Negative: No confinable space to sit and relax. They were building there while we were there so it was loud. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. They wanted money for the whole stay as soon as we arrived. Did not feel good vibes there.
