The Hosteller Mussoorie By The Streamside, Kempty

This is a quaint little place that is spread across a stream with a few mini waterfalls. My expereince (as a solo traveller) here has been memorable with great care from Anil. The rooms are pretty decent (dorms and private rooms), they are not luxury but pretty comfortable with hot water availability 24*7 and really great budget-friendly good at their cafe. With multiple spots to just sit and chill, read a novel or work, you feel truly detoxed. Evenings are fun with music & bonfires as the place really lights up.

I loved the atmosphere here. It's just 10 mins far from Kempty Falls. The setting of this hostel is the main attraction. Cool calm water from the springs, and a small and beautiful waterfall. The staff is professional and helpful. I recommend this 10/10

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at a Hosteller property. As a loyal customer, this fourth experience has irrevocably damaged my trust in your brand. The service was shockingly unprofessional, far below the standards I expect from a chain like Hosteller. Here's a summary of the unacceptable issues I encountered: Staff were unresponsive and slow, requiring multiple requests for simple tasks. Food was served on broken and unsanitary plates, with a dismissive attitude towards providing proper dishware. Basic requests, like an extra spoon, were denied due to arbitrary and inflexible "policies." The property was under construction, creating a hazardous and unpleasant environment. The "gaming room" was unusable, with missing pieces and a lack of basic equipment. Staff were unhelpful and placed the burden of resolving issues on the guest. For a single night costing 8,000, the service was abysmal. I strongly advise against choosing this Hosteller location to avoid similar disappointment and a complete waste of money.

Never felt like going back. In today's time when most of the pics are AI generatred, I found everything the same it is shown in the website. Everything was picture perfect. Spacious room, washroom, 24 hours hot water, wide spread property exactly by the stream. The continuous flowing stream is within the property and no outsiders. Lastly the food quality and very moderate prices. Very well behaved staff and supporting.

Wonderful location amidst the raw nature , continuous stream through the hotel . Approach is easy , about 500 metre from main road by both car and bike . Food is delicious and affordable. Both dormitory and rooms available. Carry your own soap and shampoo if opting for dormitory . Wifi available

Very rarely I gave the property 5 stars. You deserve it. A perfect place to be in nature with all the natural sources and vibes. The staff is very good. The rooms are clean and beautiful and located with different views. a must visit property for all the people. Great vibes and great place to be. Go out travel and enjoy life. Stop plastic pollution. Respect nature and wildlife. Enjoy.

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort during my trip to Mussoorie, and I must say, it was the most peaceful and soul-soothing place I've ever been to. I had initially planned to explore around, but the resort's vibe was so calming that I ended up spending all my time just enjoying the property itself. The biggest highlight was the staff -- they are warm, friendly, and treat you like old friends. A special shoutout to Anil, who is truly the heart of this place! He was available at any time for any help and personally guided guests for treks, waterfalls, and must-see spots nearby. His energy and hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable.
