I had an incredible stay at this homestay near Uttarkashi! The location is perfect -- away from the noisy traffic and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings was truly refreshing. The food was delicious, made with care and love, and every meal felt like home. What made the experience even better was the amazing owner -- so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with great food and wonderful hospitality, this place is a must-visit.

A Peaceful Retreat in Nature We had a wonderful stay at this homestay, nestled in a serene valley with breathtaking views. The warm hospitality, cozy ambiance, and delicious home-cooked meals made it feel like a home away from home. A perfect getaway--I can't wait to visit again!

Rooms were clean and everything was organised with all the required amenities available. Moreover food was delicious and the vegetables they served were organic and home grown in there backyard. Location is perfect with beautiful view from terrace and the hospitality is amazing.

Homestay is very user friendly. Nice food, cozy rooms, location is very gud. Specially Notiyal uncle is very jolly, helping and you will have fun talking to him. Highly recommend.

It was a Home away from home for us. Great place. The host is really caring and ready to solve any problem if you have one. It's not a place for halla gulla for sure. They serve excellent food made from fresh organic vegetables from their farm at the backyard.

Highly recommended for a staycation! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay and had an amazing time surrounded by nature. The service and food were exceptional, and the homegrown vegetables made the meals even more special. I recently stayed at Grandparents Homestay, located on the Uttarkashi-Gangotri Highway, and it was the best homestay experience I've ever had. The homestay is very close to the market, making it easy to get anything you need. Though the Bhagirathi River is nearby, you'll have to take a short walk to enjoy the river bank since it's not directly visible from the homestay. However, the walk is refreshing and worth it. The homestay offers free parking inside the property, which is very convenient. The owner is extremely humble, polite, and treats guests like family. This makes you feel like you are staying at a relative's house rather than a rented place. The rooms and washrooms are spotless, which is very important to me. There's also a kitchen space where you can cook if you bring your own stove or induction. This is great for those who prefer making their own meals. For families with children, there's plenty of space for kids to play safely. There's a lovely garden at the back where the owner grows fresh vegetables. The food here is amazing and feels just like home-cooked meals. They use fresh vegetables from their garden, which adds to the taste and healthiness of the food. The terrace has lots of space to sit and relax. It's perfect for spending quality time with family and friends while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
