A month back I contacted Star & Pines to book a room for my friend who was travelling to Kasar Devi. Until then the conversation was just professional between two strangers. But just two days back, I connected with them again as I wanted to give a small surprise to my friend who was nestled there and that's where the magic began . Both Raman and Rajat executed the entire thing amazingly & have been so patient with me. My friend loved the surprise & I was dancing like a happy kid. I felt so connected with them even though I haven't met them in person. Felt like a home away from home. They are extremely warm & friendly. I would definitely visit the cafe someday just to meet these two beautiful souls living in their magical place

Stars and pines was a great find. Perfect spot for a perfectly brewed coffee and a quick bite. Great spot for bird watching from the Terrance garden. The main cabin of the cafe one can enjoy incredible panaromic valley views while unwinding in a very asthetic and cozy ambiance.

My experience at Stars & Pines was disappointing. The environment was far from welcoming, as the owner's behavior was unprofessional and unpleasant. He appeared inattentive and often gave vague responses, accompanied by a forced smile that felt insincere. The menu offered nothing remarkable, except for the high prices, which didn't match the quality or service provided. While the rooms were decent, cleanliness was lacking, and many amenities were either non-functional or poorly maintained. Overall, the experience was frustrating, and the owner's demeanor only added to the dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable or enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our host Rajat and his wife Raman were very helpful, friendly and made sure that even the smallest of our requirements were taken care of. It was extremely cosy and felt like a home away from home. The location is amazing, just 2 mins walk from the kasar devi temple. The food again, it was nothing less than "ghar ka khana", anything and everything that we had requested for was freshly made and served hot. Thank you guys, really looking forward to come and stay again at your wonderful property. I would specially like to thank Balwant ( the sous chef / helper/ all rounder), a really sweet guy, for helping us with everything.

Oye hoye. The best place to view the Himalayan range is surely from the cozy cafe of stars and pines while having some of the most delicious foods:) The mesmerising view of the Himalayas will keep your mind warm, while the Bukhari keeps your body warm and the food by Rajat bhaiya surely keeps your soul warm:) the detailing and dedication behind the food surely made it one of the best restaurant I have ever been to. From daal roti to pancakes, this guy can make your go crazy Must visit:)
