New Dolma

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel New Dolma. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. My room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials. I especially enjoyed the scenic view of the mountains from my window--it was breathtaking. The in-house restaurant served delicious local dishes, and the service was prompt and friendly. Overall, Hotel New Dolma offered great comfort and hospitality, making my trip truly memorable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

On the basis of many good reviews about the food of this place we ordered a take away of Dal (the tadka was overcooked and burnt), aloo-gobhi (no salt-we don't prefer high salt. There was no flavour), rice -undercooked, paneer kali mirch -salt on higher side, uncooked matar and paneer in matar-paneer, chicken kali mirch ok-ok and little undercooked and on the top of it.....all Chapatis were burnt. No provision of giving any less than 1 star so bound to give that. A poor experience.

Foos is average but staff behavior is too bad. when I ask staff to give a glass for drink water he says "Bottle se he pi lo".. 1 star for good momos.

Horrible food, served stale veggies in Thali, ended up with indigestion. Read all reviews post my bad experience. Wish had read before going there. Do not visit the restaurant.

I stayed there in the month of may, exelent location ,very nice and 9cooperative staff , very tasty food good menu to select food l enjoyed my stay very much Oooogood menu

Nice place to stay ... Location is awesome and you get nice view from here .... Reasonable ... But try to be there before sunset as this hotel is 10km away from Almora city and is located in a remote area
