Hotel Leela Palace

First of all, the hotel is in a very good location, the view of the river is also very good from here, the rooms are on the back side, from there, there is a hilly village and it is foggy in the early morning, it is very lovely,The back area of the hotel is very beautiful, the river bank looks very lovely And on the other side of the hotel, terraced fields are visible which look very beautiful and depict a small hotel in the middle of fields on the side of the hill. The hotel was very clean and my room was also very clean. The room has both geyser and solar panel facilities so I did not face any problem of hot water. Room service is very good, the boys listen to us very well and give good reactions, the owner of the hotel is also very nice, Mr. Negi talks very humble and lovingly. The food was very good, it was fresh and they also fed us Pahadi dishes which we enjoyed eating. The green vegetable like Langra was a very famous vegetable of Uttarakhand, which the people there were saying, liked it very much. service is good. It was a big challenge for me to visit Uttarakhand because I was a solo traveler here and I took a lot of time to find my hotel on Google and I liked Leela Palace on Gangotri Road.The hotel was very good, the people there were very sweet, innocent and helpful. We just need to learn to adjust a bit because people think that if we pay money we will get everything. It is very difficult for us to live in the mountains.I went to Kedarnath Birha where I saw people working very hard and collecting material for the pilgrims and sending it to them, yet people say that they do not get the facilities.Uttarakhand is such a place where disasters keep happening. These are the people who help us in everything. So we should think a little about them as well that to what extent they can help us. Sometimes they cannot force us for anything.But we don't listen to them, due to which we have to suffer somewhere or the other.There is no assurance about the weather in Uttarakhand. Sometimes it is clear and sometimes it rains heavily. Listen to the people here and the hotel staff here, just like the Leela Palace staff did to me, based on Google Maps.

We were traveling from Surat, Gujarat . The Manager or Desk Clerk was rude. He was arguing with our Driver for no reason. He try to fighting with our driver. We were 10 people in our traveler. I don't recommend this place .

Our group of 22 people from Singapore, Malaysia, France, and India had a wonderful stay at Hotel Leela Palace, a highway property 15 km from Uttarkashi towards Gangotri. The rooms were neat and clean, and the property is well-maintained with ample parking for cars, vans, and buses. The owner, Mr. Negi, warmly received our clients, offering tea/coffee and even arranging a larger room with an extra bed complimentary. He also assisted us in visiting nearby attractions. The food was excellent, and the staff was professional and accommodating. We highly recommend Leela Palace for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at the hotel leela palace and had an extremely disappointing experience. There was no electricity overnight, which made it impossible to sleep comfortably or use any of the room's facilities. When I reported this issue to the management, they were completely unresponsive and offered no solutions. Food : The quality of the food was extremely poor. Meals were often cold, poorly prepared, and unhygienic. Additionally, the dining area was not clean and found some insects from the food. Cleanliness : The cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking. My room was dirty upon arrival, with stained linens, dusty surfaces, and a poorly maintained bathroom. Common areas were not regularly cleaned. Amenities : Several amenities were either unavailable, Wi-Fi was unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. Overall, my stay at the hotel leela palace was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The lack of electricity, poor management, unprofessional staff, and dirty facilities made it one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel until significant improvements are made. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve their services.

If you love cockroaches then only you can like this hotel little bit over price. Price is not the main issue cleaning is. And there is only one power socket to use for your devices charging.

I was there with my family in May 23. The facilities are worst. Not worth the money you are spending. The food is not good. There is no electricity and no proper hot water facility. And when you confront with the owner about the problems, he does not listen and intimidate you and brings local goons to fight with you. If you still book it please check how a couple was beaten up in Goa by local people when they confronted hotel owner. Its my duty to tell this. Still if u want to take risk please book.

We stayed here in Nov 2020. The hotel is on the main road near Maneri dam and towards Gangotri. The hotel has Solar and no Geyser, hence timings for hot water. The food was ok, rooms have a balcony. There are no towels, tissues and soaps, you need to request, The room has only 1 plug point for charging, so we used TV point for charging. No bisleri provided.||The river Bhagirathi is just behind the hotel, you can take a walk and get into the water if you like, but its cold.

Worst hotel in this location , very bad room service , very bad food , receptionist behaviour is very rude.try to search another hotel instead of it
