Hotel Anant Villa

Overall the experience was not good. Room: rooms were decent in size. Bathrooms were big and clean. The bedsheets were not very clean. Bedsheets had dirty spots on it. Blankets with white cover had dirty spots as well. Electric cattle were provided but the power cord was not long enough to reach socket. Location of one room facing river was good but the rooms inside were suffocating. No ventilation and no balcony in that room. Bathroom: Bathrooms were big. Geyser for hot water was provided. Toilet seats were broken in both of our rooms. Stools provided in bathroom were also broken. Taps handle were coming out. Shower was not working in one of the bathroom. Food: we took breakfast and dinner plan. The dinner at first night was served at 8 pm and reception informed us to join for dinner. There was mix veg, paneer, dal, rice, raita, papad, salad and gulab jamun. The food was not at all good in taste. Tadka in dal was burnt. We can easily see burnt onion and garlic in dal. Next day also the dinner menu was almost same. Same dal, same paneer with addition of matar, same gulab jamun. Mix veg was replaced with dry aloo subji. Service: there was double bed blankets given. We asked if it can be replaced with 2 single bed blankets but they don't have single bed blankets. So they offered to give another double bed blankets. Provided additional blankets after reminding 3 to 4 times with a comment that it's not that cold here. Overall I will not prefer to stay here if I come to uttarkashi again.

We had a memorable experience in Hotel Anant Villa at Uttar Kashi during our Char Dham yatra. The hotel is situated right above the Ganga River, offering breathtaking views from the room. It is just about 2 kms from Kashi Vishwanath temple The team is very hospitable and superb in ther service. Ther food is also quite good in taste and our entire family enjoyed it I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling towards Uttarkashi, Harsil, or Gangotri. A Memorable Stay with Family! We visited last summer with family and booked four rooms. Each room was beautifully set up and well-maintained. Despite our last-minute dinner request, the entire team went above and beyond to arrange a delicious meal with fresh vegetables--truly commendable hospitality! The hotel is situated right above the Ganga River, offering breathtaking views from every room. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling towards Uttarkashi, Harsil, or Gangotri.
