So caring staff n best location. From room,we can see many known peaks. On 13th may 2025,we nine vacate early and they packed for us very tasty sandwiches and juice and bananas. We are very happy with such a lovely and caring all staff. Will love to stay here again. Yummy breakfast and mouth watering gulab jamun and cheese cake they served us. Pahadi palak is so tasty. I recently stayed at Yak and Yeti Inn for a night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The room's private balcony was a highlight, offering breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Himalayas. Thoughtful room amenities, including a room heater and heated mattress, provided cozy comfort during winter. However, I felt that air conditioning would be a valuable addition for summer visits, as hill stations are surprisingly warm nowadays. The breakfast spread was also delightful, with a variety of options to suit every taste. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings. I highly recommend this property for a staycation - can't wait to return!"

I had a wonderful stay at Yak and Yeti Inn. The room was comfortable, and the bed heater was a unique touch, making the stay cozy, especially in the cold weather. The scenic view of the Himalayas from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking and made the experience truly special. The food was excellent, with great taste and quality. The highlight for me was the Kumauni Thali, which was simply delicious and a must-try for anyone visiting. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic retreat. I would definitely love to visit again!

We arrived at Yak and Yeti Inn after a day of sightseeing at the apple Chaubattia garden, Ranikhet. It was raining and freezing cold--but thankfully, we were quickly given our room. The room itself was lovely, warm, and welcoming. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking, with a foggy panorama view of the Himalayas and the valleys stretching out in front of us. The room was well-heated, which made a big difference given the chilly weather outside. The shower also had hot water, which was a much-needed comfort. Dinner was served a la carte, while breakfast was offered as a buffet. Both meals were convenient to have at the in-house restaurant, which had a peaceful and pleasant ambience. The dinner was absolutely delicious--every dish was bursting with flavor. The aroma, the presentation was top notch. It felt like a perfect ending to the day." Overall, I truly loved my stay at this hotel and would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ranikhet!

We were not staying in this hotel and heard from local people that food is good. Gave it a try for lunch and they exceeded our expectations. We ordered pizza and North Indian food. Staff was attentive and service was with smile. Overall a very good experience. Will surely visit again.

It's a great location, facing snow peaks of Trishul-Nandadevi Himalaya ranges. Well appointed place. Clean and welcoming ambience. We had lunch. Did not stay there. Service is quick. Food quality is average to good. Prices are up market. Parking available. For senior citizens stairs may pose an issue. Rooms $ 50 upward. Menu has Indian and Chinese cuisine and an all day breakfast menu. Use the place as a hub to explore attractions within 60 kms. Ask chef to use less spices. Drink bottled water only! All in all nice experience. So try the place, if you happen to drive to Ranikhet and ahead. Recommended.

Horrible is the only word I can come up with. We ordered 5 Kumouni thalis. First of all, a thali experience should obviously be served in a thali. But it was served shabbily in big bowls. Secondly, mutton and aalu was the only edible thing in the thali. The dal was undercooked. Other items ie paneer tikka and corn took over an hour to be served and by then everyone was done with food. The corn was an absolute joke and we had to send back the tikka. After we spoke to the manager or whoever he is, namely 'DAYAL', about the bad food and service, his response was 'aapko kumoni khaane ka kuch pata bhi hai?' and that paneer takes 45mins to 1 hr. He obviously wasn't receptive to the feedback and instead was telling us that this is how it is and gave us the bill. People like these don't belong in hospitality. Anyway, this experience has left a sour experience and that too on the last day of the year. I would ensure that atleast no one I know ever visits you guys.
