Monal Resort Abbott Mount

The place is closed permanently & is lying almost abandoned now. Very recently KMVN have come up with a large number of beautiful log huts with huge car parkings. And this place is just on back of KMVN log huts. The route is via church, 10 minutes on foot from gate of log huts.

Abbot mount is considered to be one of the scariest place in India. A lot of history was involved there. An English Doctor Morrison was reasponsible for making it haunted. The resort is good which is surrounded by scenic beauty and majestic nature. Only three rooms are there which is good for small groups. Home made food is served as per the demand of guest. Peace and privacy is the USP off this small resort.

The resort is not operational as of yet but the sight when it does start will be one worth watching. You can still go there now just to view the scenes and they're definitely spectacular.

Very bad experience, not at all clean and hygienic. The owner is very ill-spoken, doesn't understand the meaning of hospitality, caretaker was helpful. Overall a big no.

Quiet Place. Rooms are good. Dinning arrangements need sm improvement . Good Staff. Enjoyed Morning walk on the Mount.

One of the best place to see in Lohaghat. Abbot Mount is full of natural beauty and amazing views of Himalayan peaks.
