Rakatal Rocks Resort

A BEAUTIFUL location, fantastic staff, quality food, good service.. but the rooms are not appropriate.. they don't have appropriate lighting which according to me is a minus point here. Reaching at this location is quite easy.. and it's approximately 35 mins drive from Kotdwar. BUT.. car parking is tricky here.. in case you have a 4x4, or an equivalent SUV, it's better to drive to this resort. People who are excellent drivers, won't have any issues taking any car here.. I am saying this because you have to cross a river bed to reach the resort. Another option is to park the car on the main road, and use the bridge to the resort.

The ambience, location, amenities and staff of resort was excellent. I visit with my family and two other families and all of them enjoyed a lot. There is ample space where childrens can enjoy. The hospitality and service by staff was attentive. Mr Gopi (Manager) was so warmful and courteous. Thanks for all the staff. Strongly recommend to stay over here.

Rakatal Rocks Resort has a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning natural scenery, and the decor adds to its charm, creating an inviting atmosphere. Rakatal rock resort is very nice to enjoy with family. Very nice food, room service nice, good behavior of all staff especially manager (Gopi Ji). In the New Year celebration, there was a lot of decoration and a fire was also made for all the family members.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good. In terms of food, starters weren't that good though but the main course was tasty.

it was always a great experience in with rakatal resort . i have visited the property for 5 times now , but every time i visit my experience always has a good hike . good staff amd service
