Walnut Hotel

I stayed at Walnut Hotel Kotdwara for one day while returning from my trip to Lansdowne. We were six persons, three adults and three children. We took their biggest room and were given two extra beds to accommodate all six of us in the same room. View from the room was nice giving mountain view. It is a newly built hotel which is situated in Kay Pride Mall. Hotel is situated at third floor and they also have a movie hall cineplex at 2nd floor. Lift facility was also present in the hotel. Parking space is provided in the mall basement. Rates of room with extra bed was fine just in the mid range. Food was provided by restaurant which was situated just outside the cinema hall on 2nd floor, which was cheap and very good but timings were from 9 AM to 9 PM only. Room service was just Ok as you have to call the service boy on his mobile number for any thing you want. Toilet of the room was basic but clean. I also watched Thor Ragnarok movie in their cineplex and I must say that the quality of the theatre was very good. Kotdwara has very few good hotels and walnut hotel is I think one of the best hotel in kotdwara.

One of the worst hotel I have stayed in . There is no customer service at all . Reporting your concern to the reception is like banging your head on the wall . They are here just to make money and least concerned abt customer service. If you don't want to get sick stay away from this hotel ..
