Himalaya Darshan Resort

We visited Himalaya Darshan Resort at Kausani during the Holi holidays and stayed there for two nights. The location of the resort was perfect for viewing the entire range from Trishul to Nanda Devi, Panchchuli, Nandkot and onwards. The resort is very well maintained and service is beyond excellent. Same with the food and ambience. Keep it up.

I will fall short of words for this property. One of the best hotel to stay for a relaxed staycation. Very comfortable and good size cottages with all basic amenities. As name suggest you get breathtaking Himalayan darshan from your room. You can sit and just look at the mountain for hours, beautiful sunset. Food is good and tasty. Staff is just amazing. They are at your service within seconds. They arranged bon fire without any cost. We were running short of time as it was just interim stop for us otherwise its worth staying for atleast 2 nights.

Visited for 3 days from 25th to 27th April. Wonderful host. Superb location Excellent service. Home style food Do not plan less than 3 days in such a wondeful place. Highly recommended.

We are now staying at the Himalaya Darshan Resort, Kausani for 4 nights. The resort is one of the best I have ever visited in Himalayas. Spectacular view of Trishul, Nandadevi and complete Himalayan range. Resort is extremely comfortable, food is excellent added with flavors of fresh fruits (lemon, Orange etc) from the resort owner Mr Manoj. He will ensure your stay more comfortable. Rooms are spacious with 4 side balcony (Top view room) . Welcome drink with juice of Rhododendron petals are awesome.

And I must say, it's an absolute paradise! True to its name ... I believe the best location... with view of the mt range from every room, restaurant and all places ...with a beautifully maintained orchard in the mid of the jungle... Wonderful and blissful hospitality ... feels at home... Love to come back again for Sure ....

We stayed here in December for 2 nights. Unfortunately our drive from Jim Corbett took 7 hrs. instead of 5hrs.We got here only at 9pm -it was cold and a rainy day. We very graciously greeted by the owner and his staff.|About the Hotel- Its a very nice quaint property nestled in the pristine mountain.|I would call it more of a home stay than a hotel as the property has many homely vibes.|We booked the executive room for the Himalayan view however we had very bad weather during our stay so we barely got to see the Himalayan view as it was all fogged up.|However the positives of this hotels are the amazing Location, the delicious food and the lovely hospitality offered to you by the owner.|My room unfortunately felt very cold in the night. The owner explained to us that since they have a single transformer they cannot put more heaters in the room. The heaters also start after 10 pm.|I'm sure this property is a delight to stay in the summers.|Also I would like to mention the Owner's son Shivam was very quick to confirm our reservations and was very resourceful when we asked him questions with regards to our itinerary. They also have free accommodation for the driver and his meals.||Sightseeing in Kausani: Things you must see is the Vaidyanth Temple and Kot Bhramari Temple for the view if not for religious purpose. The tea estate can be skipped however we bought a lot of organic and Kumoani products from the shop at the tea estate. The maggi at the shop was delicious.||The resort can improvise on the below:|1.Heaters in the room|2.Room /bathroom repair and maintenance work. The tile of my bathroom was broken. The bath room door did not close.|3.They can provide for Bisleri Bottles instead of the regular water.|4.Toiletries in the bathroom can be of better quality.|5.The Road to the hotel can be tarred.||To sum it up ,The Himalayan Darshan Resort is a very decent property
