Warm Welcome with Friendly Dogs - Upon arrival, we were greeted by a small, adorable beagle named Chikku, along with two other friendly dogs. Their presence added a homely and joyful vibe to our stay. 4. Exceptional Hospitality & Service - The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff ensures that everything is clean and comfortable. The service is prompt, and the attention to detail is commendable. 5. Kind & Informative Owner - The owner is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. If you need recommendations or guidance, they are more than happy to help and act as a personal guide. 6. Unique Experience - One of the highlights of our stay was being allowed to take the dogs for a walk. This was a special and memorable experience, especially for dog lovers. Overall, this hotel is an ideal place for those seeking a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views, great food, and heartwarming hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region!

We had an amazing stay at Aashrita Heritage Home Stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and Mr. Ajay, the owner, made our experience even better with his warm hospitality. He helped us with everything we needed and even dropped us at Kausani Market at 5:30 am--such a kind gesture! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the place felt like home. Plus, they have three adorable dogs--Chikoo, Shadow, and Coco--who made our stay even more special. The sky here is unbelievably clear, perfect for stargazing. You can view some amazing snow capped mountains right from ur window here. If I ever visit Kausani again, I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Amazing location as Himalayan ranges can be seen right in front of the Balcony seat, top room window. Ajay ji is very kind and welcomng. He gave us lot of information about the Himalan peaks, birds that visit his garden, his adorable pets - Chiku, Coco and Shadow. We enjoyed our stay here at the fullest. Thanks to Ajay, Rahul and Mohan ji for their support and amazing delicius food. Strongly recommend this place for mesmerizing stay.

Kausani has amazing dark skies. I was so lucky to get a clear sky the night i stayed at Ashritha Heritage Homestay. Mr. Ajay was very co-operative by turning of external lights and helped with his tripod too. I enjoyed the night seeing dimest objects like Cats eye nebula, Dumbell nebula etc. just with my Binocular. A highly recomended place for Stargazing and Astrophotography.

Had a wonderful stay at Aashritha Heritage Home Stay for two nights in the last week of March. I found this place on Google and decided to give it a try based on the images and existing ratings -- and the stay truly justified that decision. The homestay is beautifully located, with well-maintained rooms and stunning panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas -- from Kedar Dome and Chaukhamba in the west, to Trishul, Nanda Devi, Panchachuli, and all the way to the Nepal Himalayas including Api, Bobaye, and Jethi Bahurani in the east. We witnessed one of the most breathtaking sunrises here, with the sun rising over the Nepal Himalayas -- an unforgettable moment. Mr. Ajay, the owner, was friendly and helpful. He generously upgraded our stay from a ground floor room to a first-floor room, which made our experience even more special. The staff was also a group of polite and helpful young men who added to the comfort of our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would love to keep coming back to this place in the future.

I have been going to Aashritha since 2015. Ajay his wife (owners) both are amazing people. Very welcoming and helpful. You will love the views, the company, the food and everything. If you are in Kausani, Aashritha is the place to stay. Cheers!

We found this homestay by chance while heading back from Munsiyari to Kausani. It was pretty late at night when we called, but they still managed to accommodate us, which was really helpful. The place is a lovely wooden house facing the beautiful snow-covered mountains (we were lucky to visit in early March when the peaks were covered in snow). I don't remember all the peak names, but I do remember Panchchuli peaks. I spent all three days just relaxing and watching the mountains, while my friend also went for some stargazing nearby. The caretakers (Rakesh, Arvind, and another dada (I couldn't quite catch his name) were super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was one of the highlights and they made dishes to our liking, including some local ones (we paid for it, of course), but it was nice to have that option. On our last evening, Mr. Ajay, the owner, surprised us with a bonfire, which was such a nice touch. I know not everyone might have the same experience, but I left with a promise to come back next year and I'm recommending some of my friends and family to stay there too!
