Raw wood Resort

Had a wonderful stay at Raw Wood Resort Kanatal.. Loved everything about the place. A compact resort with clean rooms, nice view, good food, delicious cheesecakes and tart and cooperative hospitable staff. You could actually see the sunset and scenic beauty of hills from your room. Would love to stay at this place again. Overall a refreshing stay with tranquility all around..

My stay at this hotel was a huge letdown--not because of the staff, who were courteous and tried their best--but because of the management's completely careless and insensitive attitude. Although they did allow my driver access to a toilet and gave him some water, that was the bare minimum and all they provided. There was no resting area, no food, no proper shelter, and no concern shown by management when I raised the issue. My driver had been on the road for hours and was left to wait outside in uncomfortable conditions while the management brushed off any request for support. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that charges premium rates and markets itself as a quality destination. If a hotel cannot offer even basic dignity to the people who make travel possible, it has no business calling itself "luxury." I won't be staying here again, and I would urge others--especially those who travel with drivers or staff--to look for more responsible and respectful accommodations.

If you are in Kanatal, this is one of the most luxurious resort to stay with family and friends.. They have a bakery and have such delicious pastries.. Restaurant is also really nice, have many options to choose from.. Views are also worth the stay. You can ride electric bycycle too which is hella fast, you'll enjoy your stay.. Highly recommended.

I have visited with my wife and kid for lunch but as per the receptionist, the kitchen is busy and it will take time. We have asked for room availability also and as per him it was available but that receptionist suggested that You will find rooms further ahead. As per that receptionist's attitude we won't be able to afford his hotel. Not at all like his attitude that's why we haven't done lunch there.

Absolutely appalling experience at RAW WOOD - Kanataal. We were anticipating a relaxing getaway, but was instead subjected to a masterclass in incompetence and disrespect. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this resort was a far cry from the idyllic retreat advertised. The service was abysmal. "Slow" doesn't even begin to describe the glacial pace at which anything happened. Meals, when they finally arrived, were served with inexplicably long intervals between courses, leaving us hungry and frustrated. The food itself was mediocre at best, and certainly did not justify the exorbitant prices they charged. However, the most egregious aspect of our stay was the staff's behaviour. They were not only unhelpful but actively hostile. Their attitude was dismissive, bordering on rude, and any request was met with sighs and eye-rolls. The level of unprofessionalism was shocking. To add insult to injury, their persistent and frankly annoying behaviour ultimately compelled us to check out after just one night. We felt completely unwelcome and harassed. It's clear that RAW WOOD has no regard for its guests' comfort or satisfaction. The price they demand is utterly disproportionate to the pathetic service and substandard amenities they provide. Save yourself from the disappointment and book elsewhere. This resort is a complete rip-off and a waste of hard-earned money.

We had a fantastic stay at Raw Wood.. Rooms were well appointed and the food was good. We had a great time and would love to return!

We stayed at this property recently with family and Friends . Kanatal is a beautiful and peaceful location and finding this resort was a blessing . Location , food and service all were very good . Highly recommended!!!

Can't give anything less than 10 stars to this place, but Google has limitations! We visited raw wood resort with EV car for the first time on mountains. The staff and manager were very supportive and helped to look for all charging related thing... Loved the food... and the location.... The manager and staff are very nice and humble... Rooms and washrooms are very well maintained...
