The Forest Hill Hotel

Checked in the hotel on April 20th, 2025 with my in laws and kids. I will be to the point here: Rooms - Beautiful, well maintained, neat and clean (including the toilet) Housekeeping - Up to the mark and decent Staff - Hostile, unapologetic, cold and casual Food - Basic with limited options (especially Breakfast)....The food which we ordered as lunch in room (ala carte) didn't have adequate salt in it, so it was khaaya na khaaya - ek baraabar Not to create any fuss here but charging 42 rupees for two cold RO water bottles could have been avoidable, this much consideration can be given to the guests Your ratings must be on a higher side but please take care of your guests in a more comforting way, Regards!

- Second visit to Forest Hill - Booked package with meals included based on a previous good experience. Regret this decision. - Buffet quality is poor - All focus is on a la carte dishes, which are tasty, but buffets (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are neglected. Breakfast (Buffet): - Very basic menu with no live vegetarian options. Dinner (Buffet): - Buffet was shifted to a party hall on multiple days instead of the main restaurant. - Food quality was worse than simple community event catering. - On the first day in the restaurant, there were good Chinese options, multiple soups, and desserts. - Next two days, these options disappeared, and the menu became very limited. Message to Management: - Charging guests in advance for the buffet does not justify serving low-quality food. - Guests deserve the same standard as a la carte customers. - If maintaining quality is not possible, it's better to stop offering a buffet. Overall Verdict: - Rooms: Good. - Service: Average, needs improvement. - Food: A la carte is great, but the buffet is a disappointment. Recommendation: Avoid the buffet package. Opt for a la carte instead.

We recently stayed at this hotel, and for the price we paid, it offers great value. As a budget-friendly option, the room size was spacious, and the cleanliness was commendable. Additionally, the location is quite convenient, making it a suitable choice for travelers. However, there are some areas that need improvement: 1. Maintenance Issues: The bathroom had a leaking from hand shower, which caused some inconvenience. 2. Room Amenities: The kettle in the room produced water with a white residue. This might indicate either poor cleaning or issues with the water quality. 3. Buffet Experience: The buffet spread was extremely limited, which was quite disappointing. The major concern, however, was their strict policy against taking food from the buffet to the room. As a parent traveling with small children, this lack of flexibility was very frustrating. Children often eat better in a more comfortable environment, and not allowing this felt inconsiderate to families' needs. While the hotel has its positives, such as cleanliness, room size, and location, addressing these issues would greatly enhance the overall guest experience, especially for families.

The hotel, around 10 minutes from Har Ki Pauri is a perfect getaway for a weekend with plans for Rishkesh, Haridwar and nearby sightseeing. It has an amazing view for the forest with absolute silence and peace at a reasonable price. Had a lovely stay

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were neat and clean, service was awesome, food was good. Location of the hotel is bit on outside and it's inconvenient to reach and come back from the hotel frequently. Staff made all efforts to make my stay a pleasant one. The TVs should be changed to Smart ones atleast now.

The Hotel was great, Good service & clean, The House keeping staff were efficient and considerate. Rooms now are better then any Five star hotel and Staff was very good at all levels, The food was great too. I loved the atmosphere for my stay with them. Thanks for the hospitality.

Food was good, but the variety was less... If you're looking for hotels near Har ki paudi, this is slightly far.. overall very nice

Worst Experience Ever - Poor Security and Management!!! We had an extremely disappointing experience at The Forest Hill Hotel Haridwar during our stay on 31st December and 1st January. Our money was stolen while we were having breakfast on their premises. We immediately reported the incident to the hotel authorities, but they failed to take any appropriate action. Despite our request, they refused to show us the CCTV footage, and no action has been taken to resolve the issue. They even promised to provide an update, but we have not received any response from them to date. The lack of security and poor management made our stay a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice, as the safety and accountability here are highly questionable. We are extremely disappointed and hope that the hotel takes necessary steps to improve its security and customer service in the future.
