I had one of the best experiences in this property. The best part hospitality, food and location. Be it the grand welcome you receive or the token of love when you check out. Be it the ganga arti or the special arrangements for gana snan everything echoed a special experience. They have extravagant food spread and the assistance given by Mr. Kuldeep Singh during dining was homely. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to experience the warmth and hospitality of here.

The property is incredible and so is the hospitality. The entire experience from check-in to check-out is so wonderful. The rooms are excellent, food is delicious and they also offer regional varieties which makes the experience enriching. They provide valet service in case you are travelling by your personal vehicle. The private ghat is very clean and well maintained, which makes the bathing experience so good. The staff is very courteous and polite. Would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Haridwar !!
We stayed at Pilibhit House during our visit to Haridwar on May 13 - 14, 2025. We had a very pleasant stay and experience. We were very impressed by the all inclusive breakfast, which was among the best we have ever experienced. Their chef Deepak, waiters Gautam were very impressive, knowledgeable and treated us very well. Great experience which will always be treasured and remembered!
We were extremely delighted by the way the team made our stay so wonderful and beautiful. |Every program that was made for my wife's birthday was of her choice and liking.|Our whole family is very thankful and our appreciation for all the effort. |From the guard ( the gentleman with a wonderful moustache ), to the reception, housekeeping, restaurant service, the rituals, the music and to top it all the General Manager. |I don't remember the names of many and don't want to take just 3-4 names to undermine the others. |You have a great team lead by an able leader|Thank you once again |My best wishes and warm regards
We visited as an extended family of 6 people for 3 nights in April. We had two Ganges facing suites which had very pleasing views of the river Ganges. The suite we stayed in was very spacious and had a very big bathtub in the bathroom. The suites were also very tastefully decorated. The hotel has just 35 rooms in total, so it's small but it's beautifully constructed and the lobby area is very nicely done with many chairs and sofas. Haridwar was last on our itinerary of places in Uttarakhand and that included Dehradun, Corbett, Rishikesh and Haridwar. We debated quite a bit on whether we should stay 3 nights in Taj Rishikesh and 2 nights in Pilibhit House or vice versa and in the end Pilibhit House won because there were some rave reviews about the food and spa and we decided to try Pilibhit House for its culinary delights. Ironically that turned out to be the biggest disappointment! The breakfast spread is very limited and lacks creativity and the overall menu is just about average! We always knew that the options will be entirely vegetarian but that was ok with us because we were open to try the different options on the menu. However Taj Rishikesh turned out to be much better in overall cuisine choices and taste (amongst vegetarian options). I personally gave a detailed feedback to the head chef on how they could have borrowed a leaf from Taj Rishikesh in promoting some of the local Garwhali and Kumaoni cuisines during breakfast, something that Taj Rishikesh did very well! There were some bright spots though, we had food in their Pan Asian restaurant called The Terrace and the taste of dishes like the Philly cheese sushi and pizza was good! The marigold juice was also very good although it didn't have a consistent taste between the multiple times we had it (sometimes it was a bit too sour and sometimes it was just the right balance). Overall the food is average and was definitely a forgettable experience for us, we have had much better experience in other Taj hotels. The spa was really good and 5 of us made a visit to the spa. The hospitality and service was very prompt and I want to call out certain people like Sanchit who made sure that some of our requests regarding food were catered to. The evening Aarti is also well done and should definitely be experienced once as also a dip in the Ganges from the banks of Ganges that are adjacent to the hotel. The evening tea and the musical performances are also good as is the palm reading by a couple of the astrologers in the lobby. The Moti Bazaar is a walkable distance (about 20 min walk), so you can reach Har ki Pauri by foot as well. We also did some of the paid tours conducted by the hotel as for example the temple tour and which was pretty decent. Since we had a late flight back from Dehradun airport at 6:30 PM, we requested a late checkout and which was accommodated to a certain extent till 2 PM but we were told to vacate our rooms on the pretext that the next set of guests would arrive by 1 PM. So we had to wait it out in the lobby for sometime which was fine except for the fact that we noticed that none of the rooms that we had vacated had been redone and cleaned up even by 3:30 PM (we made a late visit to the spa which is on the same floor as the rooms and hence were able to look at the rooms that we had vacated earlier). So it was a bit disappointing because the hotel could have easily accommodated our late checkout request as we had originally requested. But overall not much else to complain about!
My stay at Pilibhit House, Haridwar was truly exceptional. The property is a serene blend of heritage charm and modern luxury, offering stunning views of the Ganges and a deeply peaceful ambiance. Every detail--from the elegant rooms to the soulful Ganga Aarti experience--was thoughtfully curated. Special thanks to Sanjit Bikram (Food and Beverage Executive) , Sanjay Singh (Restaurant Manager) & Shruti Gupta (Reservations Department) for their warm hospitality and making my experience truly exceptional.
I recently visited pilibhit house for my birthday staycation. I'd say it was a wholesome & an extremely memorable experience from the minute we entered the warm welcome with chants & rudraksha Mala to the moment we left with their special goodbye rituals they made sure that my birthday becomes extremely special. They even planned a special surprise which was really sweet. If there's a property which blends luxury and spirituality seamlessly then this was it. A special mention to Mr. Vikas, Nikita, Himanshi, Nandini, Ashutosh, shruti and hemant
The ambience, the food, and the service all were excellent !! The live flute being played in the mornings added so much to the calm n serenity ! The bhajans at high tea was a nice surprise..n in the evening the instrumental music by the pianist and his vocal renderings of mellow bollywood songs were so enjoyable .. And at the Terrace restaurant too the music was good. The way the staff celebrated the birthdays n anniversaries of the guests was wonderful !!
