Hotel Ganga Vilas

The hotel having budget family rooms. The price were affordable, the staff was good. The food was good as per charges. The property is at Centre place to visit haridwar. I will recommend people to enjoy this property with economical fair.

Poor hospitality and very rude behaviour of the staff at the front desk. I only asked them to wait for a couple of hrs and paid extra money for 2-3 hrs for a late checkout, still they misbehaved like some uneducated goons. I will not recommend this hotel if you are visiting Haridwar. Not a pleasant experience.

Rooms are good in a budget of Rs: 1000/- on Yatra time for a Non AC (Room No. A1). Clean and good toilet. Specious room. TV was not working. A bit far from main Ghat. Bus stand and Station are near though.

Stayed along with Friends at this hotel. Rooms are basic. Cleanliness is average. Service was good. Main advantage was location which is 800m from railway station.

We stayed in this hotel, the rooms is pretty decent in size. Location of the hotel is good just walking distance from Railway Station however approx 1.5 kms from Har ki Pauri. They charge very high for the food as comparison to the quality of food they offer. Overall experience was very good. I love to the location. It is very prime location. Rooms are also very good. Complete value for money, Thumbs up from my side if you are looking for a nice and pleasant stay at Haridwar.

Hotel is quite good. Not that much awesome, staff is really helpful, cleanliness is not good. Its quite dusty from inside the room. Room is normal sized. Hot water facility is good, but only a single person can take hot water shower, theb you have to wait for hours to get hot water again. Wifi range is only for 1st floor, if you get your room on second or third floor then you will not get any signal.

I personally think this Hotel is very costly if following reasons taken into account. I paid paid 1477 in cash for two days stay for non AC room, delux room. I have stayed many other hotels which have normal rooms much better than this hotel's delux rooms. Hotel is not in good location. You have to cross many congested areas and a narrow road ( it should be called alley in my opinion not road) . I myself get enough time to locate the hotel. Hotel is approx 1km from bus stand but most of the times the route is very congested. When I visited there the colour of hotel's name board was so much faded that it was unable to notice. Hotel Surrounding is not very decent. Room furniture smells unfresh. Toilets are not good to pay your hard earned money. Mosquitoes were inside the room. Staff is not good enough to assist you. You have to ask for everything you need, even for drinking water, a towel and a soap. Next day when I continued my stay in this hotel towel was not changed by staff. Bed sheet was not changed. Fresh water not given, water mug have stale water of previous day. . Room rent should not be more than 400 rupees for one day stay in this hotel. . I want to give it only one star but giving it 2 star just because You could find food at affordable prices nearby.

Hotel is situated near station as well as main city and har ki pedi. You can get auto or rikshaw at walking distance for rishikesh. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is also clean. Manager and staff are cooperative. The hotel also has kitchen. The food is quite good in quality and taste. Specially dal fry. Its just awesome. The food is cheap too.
