1. The door of the washroom was not closing 2. The food was not upto the mark 3. The price was very high and they didnt provide that much facilities 4.the staff was good 5. It had a view of Ganga mata 6. The complimantory bottles and dental kit was not provided 7. Overall it was not good experience

Nice clean rooms. The room service is also very pro-active. But the best part is its location. It is located in front of Ganesh Ghat, just walk down a couple of steps to bathe in the holy Ganga mata river. The hotel also has its own restaurant. The food is 100% worth the price. Visited Haridwar on 28th/29th Sept. 2024. GANGA Atitheyam is a beautiful property. The hotel stay was comfortable with responsive reception and kitchen. Food was good. Best part was the location- easy to reach and enough parking within the hotel premises. Also, the well furnished common area on first floor facing river Ganga on Ganesh ghat was an attraction. We spent quite some time there. Staff was courteous and efficient. :)

Had a great experience celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary at Hotel Ganga Aatitheyam in Haridwar. Nestled right infront of the ever sacrosanct River Ganga, the stay here was as blissfull and fun as imaginable. The service, cleanliness, food quality was top notch. The property boasts of a decked up podium that's definitely a spot to light up your mood. The hotel has nice clean rooms and the best part is its location which is near a Ghat where one just needs to step down a couple of steps for the dip in Maa Ganga! Had a chance to meet the owner, and was pleasantly surprised to notice his attention for details with the decor and arrangements for the party in the evening. The hotel and the staff really made sure that we had a wonderful time all through our stay!

We stayed in 2 deluxe rooms in this hotel for the price of INR 5300+ each. They charged INR 850 for extra bedding for each room. To Start with extra bedding provided was not even worth of INR 250-350. The room size was decent and the location was good being just across of Ganesh Ghat. However, they lack at anything which a hotel charging this much should have. They are pathetic at hospitality management and worse at room service. We travelled for 6 hours accompanied by two elderlies and as a responsible guest I called them on prior notice for like an hour or so to let them know that I will be reaching their premises so that they can start setting up our rooms. But both rooms were just made up on our arrival. They didn't even know that one of the room's AC was not even working it was not even cooling the mere small portion of the room leave whole room. When we asked them to send us some maintenance person. They were not even bothered by this. After fighting for two hours with them they switched our room and to our dismay another room was having dust and spider webs, before switching to the different they tried to patch up with lower grade room for which I said will you refund my money they had no answer to that. We asked them to clean it but AC was still not that effective. The Bathrooms were dirty, shower head was throwing water every where in all directions but not in center, room's have had molds and the window's doesn't even open. Since we travelled for long hours we didn't want to eat heavy lunch so we asked room service for some sandwiches along with Tea. They denied to our request and advised we should just stick to main course. We obliged and then ordered something else. Same thing happened at night. Around 8:00 PM we requested them for tea, they said since it is dinner time we will not make tea/coffee and there will be no room service so if you want, come to restaurant and eat dinner instead. So we went to restaurant and ordered food. My brother in law asked for Lemonade we were again declined and the person who was waiting table said we do provide it but since we are short staffed nobody will make it for you.. In the morning again they said no tea/coffee will be served in the room come to restaurant and have breakfast. We checked BREAKFAST BUFFET and they had only - Idli, Sambar and upma.. I have not seen in my life such pathetic breakfast buffet and to be honest I have been to alot of them. By this time we were so irritated by their not so hospitable attitude and bare minimum services. Whatever food we ate was decent enough to just sail through this horrible experience and we checked out even early before the actual checkout time. More over they ask for the whole payment upfront in advance when we checked-in which many 4-5 star hotels do not even ask for..Either they know of their terrible services which is why they ask for whole payment on check-in because they know a customer will surely make fuss while making payment at the end because of their horrible horrible experience. My suggestion if you are willing to spend INR 4500-5000 on a room please stay at Hyatt/Sarovar portico/ lemon tree atleast they are the names known for hospitality. DONT go for this hotel they are just charging for location which is not even that great because you can only see Ganga River from the front entry of the hotel not from any room's window. Stay someplace else but this.

The hotel was cleaned and it was near Maa Ganga River. It was easy to reach, you can get auto/eriksha/taxi easily. Service and food was good. Indian masala chai was awesome i wasn't expecting such good tea in the hotel. Would recommend if you are in Haridwar. Very nice hotel in haridwar. Good location. . Hotel rooms are very nice and well decorated. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Hospitality was excellent . We will like to visit this hotel every time we visit haridwar .
