Ganga Lahari is an excellent hotel known for its exceptional hospitality and delectable cuisine. The well-trained staff ensures a warm and respectful experience, making every stay truly memorable. The place is beyond words--calm, soothing, and deeply spiritual. The best part of the hotel's gallery which is overlooking the Ganges. The rooms were designed to a high standard, the facilities at the hotel were excellent. The rooftop restaurant served amazing food and the musicians entertaining us were excellent.The level of courtesy displayed by all staff is exceptional. The Manager, Mr. Krishna Negi was the most gracious host ensuring that no stone was left unturned in making our stay most memorable. Thanks for making any trip a memorable trip !

The hotel is right on the banks of the Ganga. The staff is very pleasant and always helpful. It's most serene you can sit in the Verandah and watch the people go on The Ganges. The hotel has many activities and entertainment, its great value for money and most importantly its service quality, clean rooms, the activities and delicious. Special mention to Mr.Krishna, The Manager seemed to be running a truly guest oriented hospitality team here. We appreciate his services, as he has been one of the most wonderful host we have ever come across.||Overall, it was a great stay. When we will be back in Haridwar, we will be definitely staying at Ganga Lehari.

A peaceful and beautiful stay right by the Ganga! Hotel Ganga Lahiri offers stunning river views, clean and comfortable rooms, and is just steps away from Har Ki Pauri. The staff truly makes the experience exceptional -- a special thanks to Mr. Ajit at the reception desk for his warm welcome and helpful nature, and to Upendraji, the ever-polite and attentive security personnel, who ensured we always felt safe and cared for. The food was delicious and purely vegetarian, and the complimentary transfers to the Ganga Aarti were a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Haridwar!

"For all people with mobility issues and accessibility needs for the elderly, this is a very good option just on the ghat allowing me to take care of my elderly parents so well. The authentic native food was so yummy and they had all variety in buffet. The hotel has a great view to see the Sun rising on the Ganga. We could take one extra early morning peaceful Ganga dip, too. The Bhajan Sandhya and the dinner at the Terrace were wonderful. A little discomfort can be the walk to/fro from the common parking like any other hotel in the area but they provided porter and all needed support."

Ganga Lahari is an excellent boutique hotel next to Ganga with amazing viewsfrom balcony and rooftop, along with excellent food and service.Hotel is very well placed exactly on the banks of holy Ganga with fullluxurious amenities inside the room.The food at Patio was delicious, especially the a la carte menu. There are plenty of inhouse activities for their guests so that the guests are well engaged during their stay.The services were great and prompt and the staff was very supportive. Special thanks to Manager Mr. Krishna for making ourtrip memorable.Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we would highly recommend it !

We stayed 2 nights at the property. From the beginning we reached to parking till we checked out, whole staff was very humble and helpful. Best location, best staff and special shout out to singer at Bhajan Sandhya. My bad i could not ask his name. My whole stay was magical.

Though it was just one night booking but we were treated like with bestest hospitality and smiles. We were escorted right from the moment we step down near Deen Dayal parking lot to the hotel.||We thoroughly enjoyed the Ganga ghat proximity through step down walk and window views. ||Tranquility is in the air of this hotel and hospitality is in the DNA of every staff member especially Krishan Negi Ji.||Looking forward to coming back soon and also recommending my network to do spend time here.||Wish all the best to team Ganga Lahri.||Regards ||Manish Arora

The best thing about this hotel is its convenient location for the Aarti Ceremony and the corridor that allows all guests to view the milling crowd along the banks of The Ganges (it's always busy!!).||Need to know:|1. GETTING TO THE HOTEL: Porters will meet you in a car park across the river (vehicles can't directly access the hotel). They pile your luggage on to carts and then you try and follow them as they quickly disappear into the crowds. After crossing the river you end up at the hotel entrance where you need to take the small lift, or climb the stairs in the 'turret', to reach Reception on the first floor.|2. CHECKING-IN: Guests are greeted with a bracelet and a salty drink.|3. ROOMS: Comfortable but a bit dark (brown). Room facilities include kettle, aircon, & safe (safe has a fixed shelf which makes it hard to place larger items in it).|4. AFTERNOON TEA: This is complementary and is served on second floor (accessed by steps in the turret). |5. AARTI CEREMONY: Hotel provides a guide to take you to the ceremony. We were advised to meet in reception at 5:15 pm. The guide didn't appear until later, didn't introduce himself, expected everyone to keep up with him through the crowds but we did get a pretty good spot to sit on the floor.|6. DINNER: We asked about booking a table for our party of 7. We were advised that this wasn't necessary but when we returned to the hotel we had to split up into two parties and wait a good while for tables.|7. FOOD & DRINK: We weren't aware that the whole city was vegetarian and alcohol free before we arrived. DINNER - The food was fine but there were a number of dishes no longer available. BREAKFAST - Limited options (limited cereals, toast, cheese & cake) but pancakes and Dosas were made to order.|8. STAFF: Indifferent.|9. OTHER: The corridor outside the rooms on first floor offers chairs from which you can view the waterfront below.
